I'm going to have to check out the GD in Pcola. Definitely a fan of Planet 13, you can get a 1/8th jar for $13 sometimes. The same name strains go through there too.

I decided to check out Cookies yesterday... Cookies had something that's new to me. They have all their strains available on a table in clear cups that you can twist and sniff. The budtender I talked to had a rosin press and talked returns on some of the different strains. I have a nugsmasher but I haven't pressed flower in forever. It so much easier to just buy it. And if I do want to press, I get better returns on bubble hash.

I tried the Triple Shot, Cherry Mellow, Space Lime Continuum and Lemonchello for Flower and some powdered sugar rosin. No 30%ers but it all hits very smooth in my Flowerpot. The Space Lime was a freebie for spending so much. It's only 16% but is definitely a Sativa.

They tell you the micron of the rosin bag for the rosin. I got the 75u stuff.

Oh and I picked up some gummies. They are okay but not the greatest tasting stuff.

Went to Trulieve today for the first time in a while. Didn't feel like driving downtown, and RiSE didn't have the deal I needed today. Just wanted something to hold me over.

Was interested to see how consistent the Roll One has been, as that was my go-to at Trulieve but it's been many months.

Happy to report it's still the same. Nugs are still small, but they look great, have a great feel to them, and smells great and strong. I wouldn't say they're sticky, but they're a good squeeze and moist.

Non-discounted, $20 for 26% THC, 2.5% terps, Limonene leading, Gush Cake.

There was no line either. Just walked right in, past the front desk, to the register and ordered.
So many dispensaries around me, finally taking the traffic away from Trulieve it seems.

Went to sunnyside today for the first time in probably years. There’s a relatively new location right down the street from me.

They don’t put their numbers online, so it makes it hard to shop, but I wasn’t feeling picky.

They had all their strains laid out on a table to see, with the percentage info above it. Made it easy to make an in-store decision. Started off rough, but a lot looked good.

Went with slurricrasher somethin, forgot exactly. Mix of slurricane, what I would assume wedding crasher, and one other.

Buds are dark and frosty. Not as soft as what I’ve been used to lately, which is one of the reasons I stopped going to them. Looks good though. Small nugs.

Smells good and gassy, but with what I I also think may just be a weird sunnyside signature smell. Will need to see if it comes through in flavor.

Was $31 after discount.

Store looked great inside, was a good experience for just stopping in for something.

and I don't mind, every time I drive down to Ft Lauderdale to visit pops at Christmas time, I hate it....as soon as I hit the Palm Beach county line, my gun comes out of the glove box on to the front seat...it's not where I grew up for sure....even the house I lived in as a kid looks nothing like it did back then now and either does the neighborhood, glad my dad lives in a nicer area....it's more hood now, lol.
Man, I got old, lol.

It's a bit weird.

I remember I got a concentrate strain from High Times (House of Platinum) back in the day, and the guy described it as "tastes like a clean refrigerator" which doesn't really resemble anything until you taste it, which was honestly very spot on.

This flower tastes exactly like that strain. I really had to dig through my memories to figure out what it resembled.

It's like a slight lemon pledge smell, without much lemon.

It's not exactly bad, but if this is something persistent in all of their strains, and not something unique to this strain, it would be a bit odd.

The flavor holds through the session though, vapes well, produces good vapor...
so it checks boxes, but Sunnyside has an odd reputation with their flavor that may be influencing how I'm seeing this.

I'll probably try them again in the future to double check. This strain is from their "FloraCal" brand, which I believe is their higher tier.
Since rebranding away from OnePlant (which I think they may actually be going back to if I've been seeing correctly), their brands are:

Cresco - their standard over the years (next to oneplant), $39 eighths, discounted to $23 or so.
FloraCal - seems a new higher tier brand to them, $49 eighths discounted to $30 or so
Supply - budget line - smalls and shake

I did really enjoy the in-store shopping experience. It's laid out just like a regular store, can go around and look at products not locked behind a safe and an armed guard. Was easy to see what I was buying and actually pick out something that looked good.

We'll see. The nugs do look great and vapes well, just a bit unusual.

So I just found out the Flowery delivers in the panhandle. Reddit seems to hype them up. Are they worth the hype? The closest shop is 4 hours away in Tallahassee, so I'd have to do Delivery. I know HisHighness swears by delivery, but I've always been a shopper ;)

Well....guess its time to update "My Doings":

I don't use delivery anymore but I'm happy to report that the dependability of the delivery services has gone up big time.

There are so many dispos out there now that many of them are on the same route I use for grocery shopping so I just stop in to one of the MANY dispensaries around here after using online ordering. Another reason I stopped using delivery is that the people working the desk always find a discount or recommendation I didn't see coming.

Lately my pick ups have gone like this:
- Put an order in for some Trulieve Roll-One 8ths ($20) where the THC is in the upper 20% range and the terps come in over 2.0%. The 8th is usually a mixture of minis and larger nugs that I have nothing to complain about.
- Put a pick-up order in for some Sunburn Live Rosin Vapes when the price is right. I've had some really good luck with those Sunburn Live Rosin Vapes in terms of the updated hardware and I'm more than happy with what's in it.
- Stop off at Trulieve, A quick u-turn to Sunburn, stop off at Winn-Dixie for a bucket of wings with that $6 off coupon. :D

IMO....The Flowery used to have some amazing herb that I would classify as top-o-the-line but, as a friend used to say....they're pretty proud of their offering's, price wise, and waiting on a sale is sometimes a long wait.

Made another trip out to goldflower today, they had 50% off everything.

Had a few things to reup on, one of them being a disposable.
They were out of disposables, and asked if I wanted a "pod". Declined, mentioned I don't want to pay for a battery. She asked "would it make a difference if it was comp'd?"

She ended up giving me the entire pod setup for free, which is a relatively unnecessary, yet very cool, setup.
It's basically like "airpods". It has a case, which is charged, which stores the battery and the pod. The case permanently keeps the battery at full charge, so long as the case is charged.

The battery/case for this setup is usually $50, so that was a very kind free offer they gave me.

Along with that, I also needed concentrate and flower.
Surprisingly, the flower was more expensive than the concentrate.

1g of Peanut Butter Cookies 90u badder for only $20. Usually $40, at 50% off. This was their 3rd party brand, Space Coast, which I've had great luck with their badder in the past, but this is that brand's lowest tier. Figured I'd try the worst they have, and see if it's still good.

Smell is great and clean, as they've all been so far, bit more pungent but still some sweetness, and looks great.
I'll say the flavor is not as pronounced as the fruitier strains I've had from them, but doesn't give a burny taste which is my main stress with rosins.

It does leave a bit of a more pungent sweetness, which I guess you could say resembles the chocolate it's going for, but definitely doesn't learn towards a fruity sweetness, and couldn't really call it gassy either.

For $20, definitely a great deal, but I'd probably shoot for $25 and go for their Fruit Stand, or $30 and go for anything from Ideal brand.

The star of the show though is the Mt. Hood Magic coming in at 24% and 3.26% terps. Main terp is Terpinolene, followed by Ocimene, and Beta Myrcene, leading to a great "oldschool" limey sativa smell. It's not quite as sharp as something like Jack Herer, but is very similar, with a bit more floral coming through. It's very pleasant. $28.

The look of this is great too. It's not the new age eye candy that's all frosty, but again that more oldschool hairy loose soft buds. (I'm not very aged, so oldschool for me isn't that far back :lol:).

All in all, a great bargain for the quality.
