Heard good things about Animal Larry and Laughing Gas. Anyone tried these?

Several decades ago while in Amsterdam, my favorite was Skunk #1. For me, it’s like filete mignon, New York pizza or the best Gelato.

I tried Animal Larry from Surterra and it was excellent. Its been awhile though so best to check the latest reviews. Surterra would have flower sales all the time and most of the time they excluded Animal Larry which was how I knew they were proud of it. Whenever a dispo consistently excludes a top tier strain from their sales I note it and wait for the sale that includes it.

I heard Cookies was pretty good but haven't been able to check them out as they aren't around me.
Reddit is a good friend for these sort of things as well (but I hate reddit)

Skunk #1 sounds great to me. If it's any sort of skunky smell, I'd love it.

I haven't had great luck with Medmen when it comes compared to what else is out there. Their buds start at $45, and they really only discount down to $30. I haven't spent $30 on an eighth in quite a while, and I'd want it to be pretty dang good if I did. I haven't been there in a year or so though, so maybe they stepped it up. They do have some really interesting strains you can't get elsewhere though.

I got some 9% THC stuff from them just for fun to try it out, and actually really enjoyed the buzz. Really helped me kill the THC chasing, and focusing on Terps instead.

I'm coming out of a pretty rough sickness at the moment, some sort of infection or food poisoning. Mentioning filet mignon, I'm eating my first meal in 36 hours and it's plain jasmin rice. Might as well be a filet with how much I'm craving it

Edit:
Ended up snagging a 1/4 of Gorilla Glue from LHS for $30 non-discounted. Coming in at 1.58% terps which is more than the last batch of Hazlenut at just .7%, so more than doubled.
Buds are a classic Gorilla Glue green that I typically see in this strain.
Smell is nice.
Buds are very small.

GG#4 was the first legal bud I ever purchased when I was vacationing in Oregon. We just got dinner on the table, I for some reason randomly checked legality in Oregon to see it was legal, and there was a dispensary 5 minutes away, and was closing in 30 minutes. Skipped dinner and had my mom drive me to the dispensary, and the entire family ended up coming along and all getting something.

Will need to vape it, but appearance and smell I'm pretty satisfied.

Asked the budtender if he prefers the Kynd flower or LIT flower, as they're always priced the same, and they mentioned they've really been enjoying and preferring the LIT. Just for anyone curious.

Unfortunately they didn't have much but I still manged to get 6 for $115.50 (the budder sale was $40/g, but they would not tack on my 30% discount)...so I said, ok, if you charge me full price for a budder and then apply my discount, can I still get bogo?
