wow, i'm through with this company... got a call from google today, telling me that my seller has tried to register an account with my contact details!!! I don't know what these guys are up to, but i have never experienced anything like this before. Haven't understood why they have called me in the first place, but google thought it was me and told me the email that was used and it's the one from my smiss seller :/

Yes google asked me if they could help me finish "my" registration. I've understood google up, but there is no such service. After I've told them, that i didn't try to register they've told me the email... And it was definitely my smiss salesman!

Hey guys I just got one of these vapes on Massdrop. Are there any first steps or preparations to do before using the vape for the first time? For example the Davinci ascent works really well with glass flowers mixed through out the chamber. I can't wait to try it out for the first time. I am starting to get quite the collection of vapes and each one always has its own technique to get the best results. I think this is the reason collecting vapes can be so addicting.

Sorry for not clarifying, the glass flowers are tiny glass pipe screens that you pack into the heating chamber to help evenly distribute the heat through the herb and promote better vapor quality

So my vapes came in from China (from Smiss) yesterday. They work just as well as my original model of the flowermate. I feel that the glass tube does provide for better airflow and that there is less resistance when I take a draw from the mouthpiece (silicone mouthpiece needed a harder draw to pull vapor IMO).
So far I am happy with this purchase! At least I can agree that I fully stand behind the product. I've owned an MFLB, and Arizer solo, and this one is by far easier to use (arizer solo has a killer taste, but I got a defective unit from the start, so my experience with it hasn't been the best, The Flowermate has NEVER given me an issue out of the 3 units that I own myself that are opened and are actively used) and is my FAVORITE.
hopefully I don't have to deal with the account bs that one of the previous poster's had ._.

The 5S is indeed slightly more expensive but not by much. It is available already.
Smiss explicitely told me that they would like people to not disclose the price they charge for samples, so I invite you to ask for a quote via alibaba.
It's the first time I hear about version 6 though...

@mrweed : I don't know what happened to you, and like @stickstones (and most readers I think) my reaction was "wtf?!", but for now it's an isolated case so it would be unfair to blame Smiss as a whole, and even more to put discredit on their product (regardless of what happened, the FM is good)
Some say that the Plant can make people paranoid, I think at least it can help develop a vivid imagination (some even say we are more likely to believe in conspiracy theories...) so here's my parano tale for you:

I blame the whole company now, because they don't do anything about this and they are the ones that should protect my contact details! I even didn't get a little "sorry" at least.
I can't find out what's really going on without their help, too.
I've paid for the sample like anyone else, I gave them a very positive review on my blog, they've asked me to contact my sponsors and promote the Flowermate and still they try to rip me off :/
this is the worst experience ever, I've made in the whole industry. I thought they would care... well, they don't. Just be warned, who your dealing with. They have crossed a line they shoudln't have (and I doubt that I'm the only victim)

My understanding is that the Flowermate VI is the model that has the 3-temp settings, yet to be released. But on their facebook, it appears they are calling it the 5S...
Every time I have contacted someone on Alibaba regarding a model with 3 settings, I am initially told that they have it, but it is later redacted and they state that they only have the model with the glass mouth piece and one temp.
@KeroZen, do you mind PMing me or mentioning here who you have spoke with that verifies having the 5S? To my knowledge nobody here has one yet and I'm interested in pioneering that model if indeed they have it.

@bambithedeer, You really need not do much prep. If your model had the silicone mouthpiece I'd suggest a nice long soak in coconut milk.
When you unscrew and take apart the mouthpiece you'll also see a little ceramic screen. Just throw that in the trash as it seems to serve no purpose and just restricts the draw unnecessarily.
If you want to keep the unit as clean as you can you can try using Pinnacle Pro bullets to pre-load your herb and just pop them into the chamber. Vape Dr. uses this method I believe, and has said that some bullets fit, some do not.
I find that if I just fill my chamber about 3/4 with herb and don't bother tamping down the herb (aside from the mouthpiece compressing it a little) that I get great results. I've not experimented much with packing less, but I find that if I try to pack tight I don't get the initial vape production that I'm after.

I'm still getting vapour, but it's so much harder than the PnP or MFLB. I'm v disappointed at the mo.

Have you been using it long? It will get worse the more you use it. Definitely worth taking apart the mouth piece and soaking all of the pieces in alcohol overnight. It will help out a lot. The small holes do tend to get clogged up pretty easily.

All you need is the F-bomb. Its a great little tool that fits right on top of the silicone mouthpiece. I imagine the glass mouthpiece will function similarly.
