They price matched at 75$, but since that price doesn't comes with bonus it's probably better the faster shipping + free grinder at 80$ with the code FMG. Very nice support from Puffitup! If I buy another vape I'll get it from there for sure.

@archangelz001, the mouthpiece on the Mini has a different threading, though you can separate the actual borosilicate mouthpiece from the metal threaded piece. Those are interchangeable.
Thanks, I'll have to at least pick up one for the glass in case of breakage.
Puffit up doesn't list any for the mini , yet.
I would like to get a complete sooner or lat er as I've already tweaked this one by enlarging all 5 holes and replaced the screen to a coarse one.
It's still getting clogged and reducing vapor flow so I may open them up a bit more.
It's a bad setup as the 5 hole baffle is bowl side and the screen is behind them.
I've only had it for a couple of days and need to give it some time and tweaking.
I did have to do a few burn offs as the plastic smell was quite prevalent.

You guyz do realize that whatever the size you enlarge all those holes and screens to, the device is gonna clog? All vaporizers require a more or less frequent cleaning (and possibly reclaim'ing in the process)

For my FM's I just wipe the bottom of the mouthpiece with a toilet paper after every session. I lose some oil in the process but there's always plenty to reclaim on the glass part anyways, so this is a good compromise for me.

I drilled out my whole mouthpiece and pushed stainless screen in place - a bit extreme, but good for me. Maintenance wise, I brush it out every charge, and drop the metal in iso every 2 or 3 charges and q-tip the bowl, will never clog. I suppose that could qualify as frequent cleaning but nothing compared to sometimes mid-bowl maint I was doing with tiny holes (usually on the last bowl of a charge).

So how hard does the mini hit. I'm debating between this and the goboof alfa. I've seen videos of the alfa blowing big clouds and videos of the 5.0s with not as thick clouds(can't find video of the mini yet.) But the mini is half The priCe.

My main question is I want a vape that produces thick vapor. Will the mini satisfy that. And is the m8ni better than the pax1. That was a diappointing vape for me

Woohoo my pro has arrived, I've fully charged her and now I'm doing the burn offs. I've done about 5 now and the smell is already going, I like that when the 5min session is over you can hold the power for a couple seconds and it starts heating back up to the last temp.
Can someone clarify what helps improve the draw resistance, what holes am I making bigger, I can see my Mouthpiece has 5 holes and then there's a screen on top. Also at the bottom of the chamber there is the same 5 holes and then a screen on top. Is it both or just the mouthpiece or the one in the chamber?

I got the fm v5.0s how can I smoke wax, hash, and oils in it?

I have the same unit but its for vaping?

Organic cotton. Wrap wax in the cotton so its inside the cotton not touching the walls. Crank up heat and vape.

The "Dry+Con+Dry" method works well:

Load some dry material in chamber. Then your concentrate. Then more dry material.

I was actually debating the exact same question as you and went with the FM mini. I think the Goboof might be a bit overpriced. When I get the mini, I intend to do a review on here....stay tuned!

Wow, you are getting big clouds in that video, my mini and my 5s don't give anything like that much vapour, is that all to do with using a water tool? Just ordered a pro version so looking forward to playing with that!

Come on guys, you need to lose that obsession about visible vapor exhale! ^ ^

Lighting and room ambient air humidity level change everything... In the dark using a flashlight to shine the exhale, all vapes are cloud machines.

Now if you are talking about load extraction speed, some vapes cash a load faster than others, but temperature is the most important factor. Start above 200°C and your load will be spent in a few hits whatever the device you use.

That being said the FM are rather average-speed extraction-wise: the bowl is usually spent in 2 or 3 time-out sessions (so between 10 and 15+ minutes, 20 minutes at most) There are faster vapes available (Mighty/Crafty? Lotus?)

And with the FM5-Pro the main interest is to be able to do low temp levels. The more distinct levels you do the longer the overall session. If you do one 210°C level it will be pretty fast, if you do like I enjoy 173°C, 184°C, 196°C then 215°C in a row, the session will be longer (and IMHO it gives more time for your lungs to absorb more components, so you get more effect and on top of that you preserve all delicate terpenes and get the delicious taste)

Now we can't always afford a 15+ minutes session... but that's the beauty of variable temp control, you can adapt the device to your needs and your medicine!

Don't worry, I'm not obsessed with visible vapour!! I know that it's not at all important but I was just quite surprised at how much there was. Nice tip on the temp increases on the Pro though, I shall try that once I have mine.

I must say that my mini is probably my least favourite currently, I find that it doesn't seem to work as well as the v5s which is odd as that contradicts a lot of people's experiences on here it seems. No matter how much I tamp the load down and how slow I draw it still seems to rise in the bowl. Plus the mouthpiece seems more restrictive than the 5s. But for size, you just can't beat it so it's perfect for real stealth missions!

Is it a terrible idea to buy the flowermate if you already have the Crafty just to see what the fuss is all about?

well if you are looking to see if flowermate will compete with a crafty, then no.

For me i have a Solo, and flowermate mini is great as a secondary vape, especially on the go. i love my Solo x100 more, but i enjoy the fact i have a backup vape, and one thats more discreet, when need be.

Yeah! One should always have one backup vape... or two! I agree 100%.

Now is the FM5 better than vapes that cost 4x more? Probably not, yet amongst the "cheap" vapes the FM5 is really good. The MSRP for the FM5-Pro will not be that cheap, but really, since I got it, I'm not using my Ascent daily like I used to... If you asked me I would still answer that I prefer the Ascent, yet in practice I've been using my FM5-Pro daily and not the Ascent, sometimes alternating with the FM5-S, so that says a lot...

I really like how braindead easy it is, effortless hits that for me are ample enough (you might be after bigger ones depending on your preferences though) and I like the low maintainance aspect (provided you take care of not letting it clog) It's also very stealthy and the battery life is excellent. I love not having to recharge it twice or more per day.

I just got my mini from puffitup and I'm really happy with it and the quality, and puffitup too (they sent me a 4 piece grinder too for some reason). I had no idea it had a built in usb charger "no officer, this is just my dank phone charger"

Should I put one of those 2 screens in? It looks like there already is a bigger screen in preinstalled

I may have just set a new record for breaking the mouthpiece, I've not even got to try my Pro yet, I got as far as doing the burnoffs and then dropped the mouthpiece.
Does anyone know a good place to get a replacement in the uk?
Are the glass tips for the 5.0 the same as the Pro?

Well for me the taste of the mini has improved immensely after a few bowls, but it seems to have clogged up on me somewhere. Its not the mouthpiece, and the 5 holes below the bottom screen aren't blocked either. Am I missing something?

A small section of the ceramic is missing inside the bowl. Looks like it was scraped off when the screen was inserted. Is this enough to effect the performance of the vape?

Help!! I just got my Flowermate v5.0s about 2 weeks ago, and friggin love it. Just this morning however it's stopped powering on. I may have forgotten to turn it off last night, but I've done that a couple times before already and it had no issues, I just held the button down for 3 seconds to pop it out of sleep mode and it continued to work. Now I get no activity whatsoever from the SW Button. The battery appears to still be good as the battery LED turned green after about a couple hours on the charger, but it still wouldn't turn on. I've tried holding the button down for varying lengths of time (3, 5, 10, 20, 30, 60 seconds) and clicking it quick intervals of up to 15 but it is still just completely unresponsive. Is there any way to disconnect the internal battery temporarily or do a "hard reset" of sorts??
