Fucking Combustion (mostly) Since February 2017
Rather harsh words, coming from you.
Glad to read your positive input. Do you set yours low and slow.
Been wondering (from what others said), if the temperature settings are wonky, or spot on.
To be honest, I've only found satisfying . vapor at the top temp setting (Red). though I may be in the minooritty in that. I tend to like higher temps than most. On max temp I still feel like I have to sip on it super slow so as to not cool the heater too much and lower vapor production.

Slow sipping is totally required. If you draw quick you cool the heater down. I find I do that on my first few draws for some reason I don’t know why. As I slowly sip and slowly draw for about 10 seconds I get monster vapor production that does make me cough sometimes do the the quantity of vapor.

I stand corrected! Now we have to ask what this little bowl-cradle is made of. @blackstone - do you know if peek snaps or not when you break it? The piece in the tear-down just broke easily.

I don't know that @TommyDee , but Storz and Bickel vaporizers have PEEK and I have sometimes detected a detergent type odor from them when new.
Very similar type odors I also got from a new leather chair recently, maybe a coloring or softening/conditioning agent or plasticiser used on leather might smell similar.
I have no experience with the FM CAP by the way.

I reached out to @FLOWERMATE OFFICIAL somewhere around the 20th of January. Phoebe was I believe on vacation at the time and said she’d look into things. I’m assuming they may have their testers covered.
either way, flowermate has always been a solid company in my eyes and have made a ton of quality devices that performed great for their price point. I hope everyone is healthy and well, and wish flowermate great success with this device!

Abysmal Vapor

I was going to post a thread about inspecting the smell of stems and abv with vaping at different temps ,but at one point i gave up on it. There definetly is that border that things start to smell like the bad stuff,fuel like( If i have to guess i would point my finger at Benzene) . Also when tempstepping you can clearly see that after certain temp you start to get that popcorn smell,IMO this is the smell of combustion. When i vape at temps below that border ,i believe i do complete extraction,i feel like i am getting nothing but cancer/ bad stuff if i push it over that,it feels toxic and i dont like that taste even one bit,thats nature telling me it sux. Unless someone really needs the qualites of those compounds vaporizing mixed with combustion and can feel that the benefits outweight the harm.
Some vaporizers dont efficiently transfer heat as efficiently to herb as others ,therefore they need to run their heaters at combustion temps and all the resdue and bits and dusts on it combust but it gets masked by the fresh flavor of the bowl pretty much,but if you run it dry you can definetly smell those.(I.E X-max fog / Lynx Eden)

Thank you for your reviews about our company and device @virtualpurple we are staying home to avoid the Corona-Virus right now and could not go out for working and shopping. I will post news when we back.

Some key parts of CAP is made of PEEK, I sure for this. Right now I could not go out for working cause Corona-Virus. I will collect all PEEK parts of CAP when I back office. thanks all

I hadn’t used this vape in about a week. Hadnt vaped in general for about a week. I fired this sucker up on the lowest setting. Man it was delicious. After the 3 or 4th draw n was getting some real nice dense clouds. I actually do enjoy the taste of this thing. Even after the session is complete I have a nice vapes after taste in my mouth after using. Seems to be my go to as of late.
