Hey all - will add my first impressions as well, most have probably already been mentioned.
- It definitely had a plastic smell upon opening, but it went away very quickly.
- Nice sturdy feel to it. Does not feel inexpensive. I love the air vent design - very cool.
- It is smaller than a Pax, a little bigger than a Miqro (with native mp)
- As others have mentioned, the mouthpiece is well designed. The magnets feel strong, but very easy to open and close. I’m not sure the magnet is strong enough to stay on in a pocket or tossed in a bag, but time will tell.
- The oven is perfectly sized for the Newvape Pax tool. I mean, it was basically made for it!
- The mouthpiece gets pretty hot after one session. I did three in a row and it was uncomfortably hot.
- It is a bit wobbly when standing up - it would be nice if it had a little more flat surface on the bottom. But, this is not a huge deal, laying it in its side is an easy alternative.
- The taste is decent. Personally, I am a fan of conduction flavor (I.e. Pax 3, Miqro, Solo) and this isn’t as good as those. But it is decent. I definitely need more time with it to really weigh in on this accurately. And, as I mentioned already, the plastic/factory taste goes away very quickly, so that already makes it much better than many out there.
- It seems to work with a lightly packed oven and with a fully packed oven, which is a nice bonus for a conduction vape.
- The temp starts at 385F which is higher than most (I like to start at 365-70 on most vapes. It would be nice to have it start a little lower.
- It seems like it is going to be easy to maintain- will update on that when I’ve had it awhile.
- The battery indicator is nice and easy - I know it is a problem for color blind folks - but it’s also very convenient to see battery status without extra presses.
That’s all for now. Thanks
