First vaporizer ever. Should I pick up a Dynavap M7 XL or a Dani Fusion 2.0?

You'd be surprised the size of glass that a dynavap can milk up when heated correctly. That's a pretty piece and I honestly recommend you try hitting it dry with the dyna.

On what I'm expecting from the M7; I'm hoping it hits as hard and well as my beloved 2018 SS M. The 2021-ish SS version, as well as the 2019 Ti, were sub par for me. Basically I wanted another SS M, and like the mass I see below the bowl on the M7 tip for heat retention and complete extraction. Otherwise, I'm going into it blind and am curious to see what the M7 has to offer.

As an upcoming accessory maker, I am interested to get calipers on all of the components and note any sizing or design differences between 2018 and now to ensure compatibility.
Understand. I realize i didn't finish one of my questions above. Do i need to purchase a WPA or something to interface Dynavap to a bong?

You don't need to buy a WPA like the BB3 for example as you could buy a 14mm/10mm reducer for your glass piece and place the M7 on top of it as the standard DV mouthpieces are 10mm compatible.

I'm assuming your recycler is 14mm female.

Yes, to fit the M7 to a 14mm joint, you need an adapter; a WPA is the best idea. You can also get a 14mm to 10mm reducer.

Hi just got my Dynavap M late today so of course I had to try it out. Loaded it up twice & got a single jet dynavap torch to get it going. My first 2 hits in each case were very robust got a nice volume of vapor, I was drawing hard. Then my next 3 draws were nothing like the first 2 but good. After that it feels spent. AVB makes me think its got more to give its somewhat light color.

Should I repack and try again or just dump these crumbs to my AVB jar?

I had heard i can draw as hard as i want w Dynavap or should i be doing long slow draws?

Overall it is a winner as it was super easy to use, got instant results , the click is very audible & yes it does offer a "joint " type experience. Best of all the taste is impeccable. With this small amount of material it is hard to believe how hard it hit. So much fun.

As i am drawing i distinctly hear another click and i can only assume that is the bi-metallic contact resetting.

It doesn't hurt to give it another go until you know it's spent, a darker roast is likely with a conduction vape. When it's done you've usually roasted out the more sedative compounds--I think this is what accounts for the high feeling 'strong' for it's size and also what makes it great for winding down. On the other hand, there's no harm in stopping when the flavor is done, or if you want a more heady than body buzz. Save the lighter abv for cannabutter.

I usually finish an M7 bowl in two heatings, with a weak third for cleanup if I'm being anal. My AVB comes out fairly dark. I get several hits per heating. You sound like you're comfortable torching it already so it's just a bit of experimenting and refinement and you'll be taking it right to the hit size or doneness level you want.

Try both. I usually rip it more or less. George recommends pulling hard with the air port unobstructed:

Really glad you're enjoying it. I love using Dynavaps and I really think the M7 is one of the best.
