Changing temps was really easy once I understood the chart in the instructions.
The behavior that
@Jill NYC is describing seems to be exactly how my fw6 functions and is exactly how the manual says it should work. For example you have a setting at 360. You'llget those 3 buzzes to tell you the range of temps that your locked into and then the 6 buzzes to tell you the selection that is set from that range in the chart.
@Brewervapesalot what issues are you having trouble with for changing the temps?
You can change all of the 3 levels to any of the temps listed in the included chart. When I first received mine I thought I was restricted to the levels in the chart but that is definitely not the case.
I'll describe how I do it below ,maybe another person describing it might help someone.
1. Decide which heat level you want for setting number 2 in the chart. I have mine set to 380. So that will be section 3 of the chart with selection 8 in the range.
2. Select the 2nd heat setting by squeezing the unit twice. It should buzz back twice.
3. Wait 2 to 3 seconds.
4. Click the button 7 times. It should buzz back 7 times.
5. Wait 2 to 3 seconds.
6. Click the button 3 times for that section of the temp chart outlined in the manual where 380 is. It'll buzz 3 times back.
7. Wait 2 to 3 seconds.
8. Click the button 8 times to select 380 from the list. It'll buzz 8 times back.
9. Wait 5 or 6 seconds and then click the button 6 times and it should buzz at you 3 times and then pause and then 8 times.
9. Be done.
You can use these same steps to change temp settings 3 and 4 but obviously you'll need to alter these directions slightly.
Hope it's helpful. I'm really enjoying my fw6 as I put more material through it.
