well we are officially staying in Denver the 15th-22nd. We will be in the Capitol Hill area, gonna hang out in Denver for most of the week. Still not sure if we will even make the cup at all now, but good times will be had either way!

High Times finally sent out an e-mail update.

Some concerts and an award show in Colorado, no expo, no samples, just music that I prob won't dig, and the awards which I NEVER stay for. Sorry, just don't care. So that is a definite SKIP for me.

They are holding the real 4/20 cup in San Bernadino, CA at the same venue they have been hosting the cup at, and they seem to have no issues with San Bernadino. Colorado's loss..

As far as other events in CO.

Both will be free, you will most likely need to be on the "list" which just means you'll need to sign up, receive your e-mail confirmation, and bring it with you. This is how they can avoid it being a public event. So yes, private consumption of Cannabis shall take place. Bring your own bud.

And don't forget to dab in public in front of the Capitol at the rally! I'll show them public consumption...

I really hope people do that, and use the rally as a political tool like it was originally organized for. You do not provide any legal means of consumption for tourist, and even most CO resident that rent. YET, you takes taxes from the nearly $1,000,000,000 in Cannabis sales. Whats the message to tourists? Buy it here, then get the fuck out and smoke it elsewhere? Seems like a great way to promote out of state trafficking.

The battle really has only just begun...

Yeah, seems that way. If I noticed any changes I'll post here. They actually did just post on their instagram simply stating that they will have the attendee info out early next week.

That's not the impression I got. I do know it's a 21+ event, and even if you have a med card but are under 21 you are not allowed to attend. Pretty sure it's 21+, out of state welcome, but I guess we will know next week if they actually do put up ticket info.

The sesh is usually hosted in LA, so the wording on the website mostly pertains to the events they host there. I believe this is the first time they have hosted a sesh outside of LA.

"secretsesh_tim@tommythekommy@thatpinner the city of Denver does not allow med events.. it's illegal. We tried our best to make it happen but the city will not allow it legally. We do all of our events by the book and follow all state and local city laws.. I do apologize for this."

Just thought I'd throw this up for you guys. There's a group in Maine called the Maine Vocals, who throw a bunch of festivals in Maine every year. Here's the schedule for 2016:

GERMINATION: FRIDAY MAY 20TH
FREEDOM FEST: JUNE 17TH - JUNE 19TH
HEMPSTOCK: AUG 11TH-14TH
HEADS IN HARMONY: SEP2ND - SEP5TH
HARVEST FEST OCT 6 - OCT 9TH
HARVEST FEST 2: OCT 21 - 23RD

I've never attended, but I intend on going to at least one this summer. I know it isn't cannabis cup, and it's probably totally different given that it isn't in a legal state, but I bet it's a blast. Just something to keep in mind guys.

They're all held in a town called Harmony, Maine, which actually isn't too far from my old town when I lived in Maine. Day tickets look about $30, it's like $60 for an all festival pass for the entire thing. There are camping tix available too, I don't know how much they cost.

Yep, Secret Sesh registration e-mail released tomorrow. I read that the venue they have can only hold 700 people, so don't sit on your registration.

just got my secret sesh confirmation, flying out in the am!!!! Is there any interest in meet up of some kind, possibly at one of these events? How many FCers are actually in the denver area?
