I mean, who would not agree with that? The problem is that we can not even agree on what the facts are a lot of the time.
It doesn't matter if we agree on what a fact is. A fact is a fact, whether we agree with them or not. The fact still stands.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.
And I also disagree that most would agree, as I have known many many people who would vehemently disagree with that quote.
I've had that conversation with many of them, many times. They literally disagree that verifiable evidence is the best way to get to truth.
