Wow what a difference time makes! Slightly different lighting and angle. But the color has changed quite a bit. It has darkened a bit and the grains definately "pop" more after the patina has begun.

That is 2 months of aging. It has not been left on extensively, occasionally overnight. The wood is very dense. It has a totally different feel than my BLMB Underdog.

We must like a lot of the same things @DieHard. I've got a big leaf maple burl blank waiting to become a HI as well as the ramon burl.

I like the way wood ages and changes! It's all part of the fun.
