Cant thank @Snappo enough for hooking me up with this amazing block to have turned into a UD. I Also got two stems getting worked on by @Ed's TnT that will be the crown on the king, or cherry on the Sunday, or maybe in this case the bone for the dog. On top of this being a simple, easy and fast process from snappo he also tossed me a free blank stem which I would eventually like to get turned into 1/2" ear rings, either that or send it eds way and get a tool or maybe another stem haha who knows haha. Anyways Snappo hooked me up with the great buckeye burl block and stems.
Will definitely give it my best shot! Sitka Spruce is typically supplied in thin planks and boards, so I expect that a special size order will be required, as well as kiln drying. We'll see ;-)
I can see them both when I hit reply, been doing it to this thread a bunch bc of this mess. Don't let it get you frustrated @Snappo those imgur img are much better so it's worth the hassle til they get things straightened out. The reason for this is that all of the other image hosting sites render poor unsharp images compared to IMGUR that simply do not do adequate justice to the incredible beauty of these woods. There is a lot of time and effort that goes into taking the photos and presenting them here for you on FC, so I want to get it right the first time without having to duplicate my efforts. That said, please see the pic below (Tinypics.com) of the order that just arrived - still to be inventoried, prepped for the photo shoot, and downloaded onto FC for image presentation for all of my FC friends. I appreciate your patience and understanding until this image hosting issue gets resolved. Love to all!!!

I was thinking that we could offer FC Forum bibs for those of us who drool over vapes, glass, and wood (VAS, WAS, & GAS) :-) Now that the IMGUR mystery has been solved, I'll be getting busy over the weekend with my photo preparations ...Stay tuned!!!
