I'm joking, I'm very pleased how it is, of course more base gives more stabilty but I'm not dissapointed at all, the tube feels very solid and stable in every surface.
Now I am curious to know why has 12 instead 14

Last days I seen a lot of EFS tubes on IG and I didn't see at least one with that small base. The tube works awesome but for us we like to vaporize a big base is important because normally we push the vaporizer to the joint adding more pressure to one side to the tube, obvious. My first impression was very good with the stability but when I used it being very high the first thing came to my mind was....where are those 2 cm !

yes I see...I have the smallest EFS base
Its not necessarily a bad thing. As I was saying I think mine are overkill. Sure I can set it on the bed and jump on the mattress without it spilling... but for 99% of the time, its too much base. I'm thinking Justin did yours later on in his career after reassessing the need for such a large base. As I stated before, it makes storage and transport a PITA.

Bigger than necessary, sure, too big, not really IMO.
I like the big flared out base, I def wouldn't really want it any bigger, but it still suits the piece well IMO. (I've never measured my base though, so I'm not 100% sure it's size)
My incycler has a smaller base, but that's a smaller piece overall.

I hear you for sure my friend. That said I, too, have an incycler. That's what was in the first pic. It's indeed a much smaller piece than my double gridded flower rig but the base is only 0.5 cm smaller, if that.

Damn. I'm thinking I might have to break my rule of only buying North Carolina glass and pick up one of these donut EFS thingies. Fuck, they sure do look pretty sweet. Double gridded and all that.

Here are overdue pictures of my only tube, made for me just over a year ago by EFS. I asked for a honeycomb and border like this encalmo, and Justin made it entirely with alien tech. Then the E-nano gong came from JoDa.
There are 3 rows of 12 holes on the gridded donut.
On the bottom, the alien tech sparkle has an amazing reflection.
For $50 extra he made a push bowl, which has been put away for a long time
