Hello and good afternoon everyone! I hope all is well out there! Been spending much time with my boys lately, they have really been my all! Getting a little work done here and there, got a couple big wholesale orders out yesterday which was a big help. Got quite a few custom orders to do this week but everything is working out as far as work goes. I am taking my 11 year old on his first duck hunt this Thursday and believe me he is so excited he cant freaking wait! We are going to shoot skeet this afternoon when they get out of school to get prepared for all those birds! Oh and I heard back from Haze Vaporizers yesterday, they put in a small order for wongs to test the waters and see how they do so be on the lookout for them to be out soon. I should have an Arizer Air in my hands by middle of next month as well as my own Imag+, been getting an awful lot of requests for mouthpieces for it. Id like to say things were better with me and the wife but they are not, I am dealing with time now and it doesnt move on my terms only on Gods so I am doing my best to keep my head up and stay positive. I gotta believe what will happen will happen whether I like it or not so I am trying to prepare for that mentally. I am hanging in there yall I am!

Thanks Ed , keep your head up buddy. I'll be picking up a air next month myself so when i do i'll be placing my order with you. By the way they use the same size stems as the Solo so you should have no problem going on your website just adding the air in that same category. I have a tricky one for you. Can u look at the Mighty and see if you can come up with something. I want wood MP's on all my vapes! Also may be thinking about another stand now that I'm at 3 log vapes.

Maybe I'll try to get down to your shop sometime next year. Stuff a bit crazy for me at the moment, traveling n whatnot.

Here's what I have for you and I'll explain the best I can.

The most important part is that circle that I have the SS wool in. There are 2 tabs sticking out, one on each side. They are angled so that when you twist to install on the unit, the cooling unit gets tighter. Also on the flat part there are two tabs that stop you from overturning (corresponding tabs on unit). There are two smaller protrusions near the tabs to hold in place. IMO these tabs aren't as crucial as the circle piece. I modded it for a WPA and just sawed through the gap between the cooling unit and the circle piece itself and it holds just fine.

The hallow piece is the cooling path for the vapor.

Then the little MP, that clips into the cooling unit.

I don't have measurements but I could get a cooling unit to you if that would help.

Idk where to even begin so I figured I'd drop it on your lap lol you are the master craftsman!

Hey, guys - my new blackwood stem won't fit my solo.
When I try to push it in, the sharp metal edges scrape rubber off the black ring at the top of the heating chamber. (Picture attached.)
What am I doing wrong? I really don't want any rubber scrapings in my vape!

I had a similar issue.....have you tried to heat it up first and then try to insert the stem......that worked for me and i havent had any issues since......

@UncannyCannabinoid same with me, heat it up and you may have to force it abit but it should be ok if any bits of plastic fall of just get them out of the chamber and I think you'll be good. Speaking of this the stem did widen out my solo a bit. My glass Stems fit prefect with the o-ring but not with out. Right now I take the o-ring out when useing the wood and put it in when useing glass, is there a better way?

Hello and good morning everyone, I hope all is well! Have been busy with my boys the last couple days, checked out my 11 year old Thursday and took him on his first duck hunt. We shot a few skeet before we left to see how he would do. He didnt do as well as past times but was hitting a few. We got to the spot, waded in and got setup, then just waited for the birds to come in. The were flying high at first and then started to work the decoys. He shot a few times and missed, no sweat, but then we had a couple of birds fly in close and he put the gun up and shot, he nailed one and I ran to the bird as quick as I could. Got there and what a beautiful one it was. Got back to him and showed him the duck, he had this big grin on his face and was smiling ear to ear, he was asking me what kind of duck it was and was saying wow how pretty he was. He got a nice Green Wing Teal drake, a really quality duck for his first one. We looked him over and he had a bad spot on his lower back where the shot hit and took off a bunch of feathers, oh I was disappointed, would have been an awesome mount had he not been missing that many feathers. Oh well he was still so excited as was I and we shot a few more times but didnt have much success. 6 of us went and we got 12 ducks total so not a bad day.

I am going to make him a bad ass certificate and frame it for Christmas! He is going to love it!

Didnt get much work done but thats ok, spent some great time with my kids and made a memory that will last for a lifetime!

@UncannyCannabinoid I am glad you got your piece and hope the guys post after yours helped some your issue. Thing is I make these a little tighter than the glass, in the beginning people ddidnt like how loose the glass fit and wanted a better fit, so I made them a little larger than the glass. Like the guys stated you might want to let the solo heat up to temp and then insert the stem, that should help. I have been sending free high temp Orings with every stem to help with the stretching but am not sure if you got one or not. I had run out of them for a short time and have just now gotten more. If you didnt get an oring let me know and I will send you one.

I thought my blackwood stem didn't fit. What I was told is that it doesn't click in the way the glass ones do. I have no problem with it now that I don't try to push it in.

I'm thinking of getting an underdog as my first desktop vape. Is there any possibility that I can get a wood stem made for it?

Ed does make underdog stems. I believe he makes two styles of them. One just like the nylon stems, and then another style like the gong. Both fit 14mm I believe.

@little maggie Absolutely you can get a wooden UD stem from me! Have made a couple with the metal tip pushed into the stem. I have made a few with the bushing around the stem like I do for the all the other stems I do. I like the bushing on the outside, makes for a larger load capacity. I received my wood stem yesterday and am very pleased (and will likely order the two inch version in the next few days). Makes the Solo feel much more durable. I also think the wood stem makes it more "stealthy" around the house.

It's tight at first. Make sure you heat your unit up before inserting for best results. It should work.

Solo wongs are 14mm I think you'll need a custom ordered 18mm but I could be wrong, Ed might have some 18mm done already
