I am taking off this weekend for the Memphis In May Beale St. Music Festival, havent taken any time off in a while. My best friend and I are leaving the wives at home for three days and going to see Smashing Pumpkins, Black Crows, Deftones, Public Enemy, Alice in Chains and many more. I freaking cant wait to be honest with you all! Its gonna be a great time for sure.

Damn that's quite the band line up!! I haven't seen deftones in concert since I was 14!! Don't even get me started on how long it was for public enemy lol. Have a great time Ed!!!

Hello and good morning everyone, had a hella time at the show! Saw some great bands and enjoyed myself. It was great just getting a way for a few days. Came back with alota positive vibes and renewed energy! I gotta say Public Enemy was the best show I saw there the whole weekend. Was a little disappointed at first, Chuck D came out with the band and no Flavor Flav, did a song or two and then outa the back come the man! FF was a freaking trip, all his faces and moves on stage was the shit! Deftones were great as always and Alice in Chains was another great band I had never seen. Still wish I coulda seen em with Layne back in the day but the new guy did a great job on all the oldies. I had never seen the Black keys, had only heard of them a couple times but they put on a great show! It rained all three days I was there and was muddy as hell. I didnt take my boots like a jackass and lost a shoe in the mud, no sweat though dug it out and kept on moving. I really had a great time, glad I went!
Even got back home early enough yesterday to turn a few solo stems, spun some of the most beautiful cocobolo pieces I have seen. Last week before I left I finished up turning all the blackwood. Have some really nice pieces in that as always. Didnt get any bog oak this batch either. Its still really expensive and hard to price.
Vaked cow, I am glad you got some great info from Jam! She knows her stuff and is a great asset here at FC. I am sure you saw above the status of solo stems. It wont be long but will have them all back in stock in just a couple more weeks hopefully except for the bog oak. Gonna have some real beauties so hang in there with me bro! I hope you like the pics posted above and look to hear from you again soon.

Hello, thanks for your input Way2 i try to stay on top of things but it gets busy round here. Been turning stems lately and today had to go to the dr., all is good just something minor is all. Got a great review is SKUNK mag for my LB stems!
Barry, I know you wanted a dark piece but what i sent ya is a little light colored, it was the last piece i had and figured youd rather have it than no piece at all, pls let me know what ya think when it arrives.
Mr. Gwelio, as i said bro been slammed but am working on restocking solo stems now. My SS guy is dragging his feet and is taking longer than id like. I am hoping to get these back in stock within a couple weeks. Pls hang in there with me and check back for an update.

The new UD cores/stems are using the old SS nipple style plus the silicone. I'm talking about the SS style that Crz/WDZ/pd used as well. He just posted it yesterday I believe!

Good morning out there, hope all is well! Been slammed in the shop the last few days, like always. Just wanted to stop by and show you all I hadnt bee screwing off. Been spinning LB stems and trying to get back to solo stems. Will be turning a couple new species of solo stems that are gonna be going to France, Purpleheart and Mayan Walnut. Just got the lumber in and ripped up, been blanking out those pieces getting ready for the lathe. Will get some pics up when I have some spun. Hers what I been up to the last couple weeks.
Also got a great review in the latest issue of SKUNK magazine. If you havent seen the issue pls check it out, there is another great spot from my friend Myo Keifbox. He's from out in Cali where he makes some of the most beautiful keif boxes around.
Also got a neat little vape on the way, a new portable I have heard of but never really seen. The manufacturer called me the other day and we spoke of making some stems for his device. Seems he uses glass for his stems now and we all know that glass doesnt take to a fall really well. So who knows maybe there will be a new line of vapor stems coming out for a portable vape.

great news Ed, looks like you've been really busy. That new vape has my attention to, and would be great if you could collaborate and make some stems. That would have been my first complaint about that vape, glass also gets hot fast. I look forward to seeing how this develops.

I couldn't pass up the sale price on that vape in the raw, so I jumped on it. Hoping there will be some ed stems in the future. It sure looks like a neat little portable, and you never can have enough wood stuff!!

The purpleheart will be an exclusive for my EU distributor at vaporisateur.net it will be a few weeks but you can purchase from them. These are gonna be some mice pieces. Am anxious to see how they pair with the solo. Will for sure post pics.
