Just received a Dreamwood Roasty! Fits really well in the hand. Still learning the heating technique as I scorched some flower =/.

I'm curious if anyone uses broken little nugs vs grinding? With grinding, I keep getting small particles in the mouth.
I think if you spread them open it'd be fine. I use a small, opened nug as a screen and then either more of those or med ground flower, lightly tamped. Opening them exposes more material, makes a more effective screen, etc. Sorta depends on the size of the Roasty, too. Glad you're enjoying it!

I purchased two Roasty devices which arrived on Saturday.

Roasty Small in Zebrawood

Roasty Large Plus in Pear with Grenadill mouthpiece

They look great! Especially love the larger one, but in terms of functionality it's easier to get good extraction levels with the smaller one.

Technique wise it's fairly straightforward and they work well with a variety of single flame lighters, and even a triple with the larger Roasty but you have to be careful there 😂

They are well-made and wonderful in the hand. The only tiny downside is the O-rings popping off when adjusting the tube is slightly annoying.

Great vapes and very happy I've bought them. I may have only bought the smaller one if I'd tried them both before buying but very reasonably priced so that's not a bother to me.

Highly recommended if you want a quality on-demand conduction device.

I couldn't agree more with what you wrote. I bought the exact same two vapes, and in hindsight, if I had tried both beforehand, I'd probably only buy the small Roasty. But as you rightly said, they are very fairly priced and excellently crafted, so I'm happy with both versions.

I frequently use the Roasty Small, as it's very pleasant to operate and actually belongs to the best-tasting vapes in my collection. The shop also offers other interesting vapes; the Glow in particular is very tempting and will likely end up in my cart at some point.

The Glow was my first Dreamwood vape and is my go-to travel buddy. Bought it to replace my Stempod OG, and it does the job very well!

I was actually messing with the larger Roasty earlier as a stem for my Enano XL, so gonna try that out a bit more.

This is definitely a great tasting vape, up there with my faves.
