Well, so far my experience has been so so. My dabber broke being dropped just a few inches like I said, but now my quarts cup broke during an iso wash somehow. I've never broke any of my glass or quartz before so I'm pretty upset that it happened with the switch. Also, my switch MUST be charged once it has 2 indications lights left and is not usable until then. I'm not sure how long it takes to charge but mine charges really fast it seems , I think my battery may be messed up. You all think Dr dabber can help resolve all of this?

Sooooo... I've been looking for something that provides e-nail level performance, without needing to leave a hot exposed nail on. Is it possible that the Switch fits the bill? Kind of amazing that no one has really nailed the "portable" e-nail yet.

Honestly I have the Newvape flowerpot which is fucking awesome but i always go for the switch since it takes like 6-8 sec to take a nail like hit with the ceramic and like 15 sec with the quartz which it provides a pretty tasty hit

My only issue is cleaning the well which for most people is not a problem.

I did too, while sitting on my couch, it just kinda bounced off the unit... I contacted DD n they sent me a new one immediately as well as som replacement ceramic cups, cus mine chipped a bit after cleaning mode.


Run the clean mode.. then take out the cup immediately and fill it with microwaved iso.. let it sit like 30-40 mins. If u watch it, u can see a bunch of shit melting off

Has anyone else seen the new Switche bubble attachment upgrades? If what I saw was legit, they seem to have this red/maroon glass hour glass shaped recycler (what I’m hoping for!) another OG style but in black glass, who knows on that one. It could be exactly the same or there could be some opals or cool sparkles hidden in there.. then another clear unit that seamed to be some kind of bubbled, klien piece of some kind.. coool shit on the horizon fellas!

sorry this is a dumb question but how long do you micro the iso for / how hot do you get it. I gave it a try last night with out much luck, i must be doing something wrong >.<

Has everyone seen the AWESOME recycler attachment floating around IG? I stared at the site for an hr with my card in hand thinking sbout an order. Didnt feel like dropping $350 at the time. Figured id wait to see if DD made any officially down the line that may be a little more affordable.

Random question but the quartz wasn’t hot was it, I’m sure you know about any kind of glass cracking when it’s hot and is introduced to something cold but I figured I would ask

Quartz has different thermal properties than glass. If the quartz is pure you should be able to heat it with a blow torch and immediately drop it into water or whatever liquid without worrying about it breaking or cracking

They did for me.. new cap, set of cups, n a drawstring bag.. it all came today. The way my cap broke, i was sitting on the couch leaning back tsking a dab.. i didnt even knock it off really, it jus kinda fell off from some couch movement.. its bounced off the bubber then base which is how it broke. Mine broke pretty crazy tho, instead of jus breaking off, it made like this broken bottle razor type part still on the cap.. so when i caught it in my hand n squeezed, n it sliding just so, i cut the fuck out of my hand! I thought i was gonna need stitches, but used that crazy fiber adhesive stuff that u cure with an led lighted tip. Mannnn that shit burned like acid when i hit it with the light.. but it works so well. It practically fuzes ur skin bsck together.. works great for minor glass repairs on any of ur pieces also. its different then krzy glue, its more like a clear, light activated epoxy. My original peak cap broke. N i must have krazy glued it 100 times, but 1 shot with this light epoxy, n u csnt even tell where its broken.. n ive dropped it a bunch n it still hasnt re broke.. back to the subject of DD is the carb n cups. My OG white cup started to flake off, n they took care of me so quick! Their customer service, especially for anything regarding the Switch, has been fucking amazing! 4 days from sending a DM, all the replacements were in my mailbox. Having an extra, i started dabbing on the black cup today n was getting reallly flavorful hits, n the black seems to be smoother.. has anyone else noticed getting better flsvor from a brand new black cup?

Hmm, I basically did the same thing with my dabber. My quartz cup somehow broke during an iso rinse. Nothing else was being cleaned with it, just the quartz peice. I guess not everyone gets the same service. Slowly I'm starting to not like the switch. I've never broken anything of mine and between the fragile accesories, my battery acting weird, and the impossible to clean well is getting annoying. This thing feels like its falling appart in my hands

4 purple lights is my jam in quartz mode. Nice and low temp. #4 out of the total 25 quartz mode settings. It takes a few rounds to vape off a regular sized dab, but it’s worth it for the flavor.

Has anyone heard if with the new thick, smoother, ceramic dish, if you still use it in the standard 5 second or less advanced mode? Or if itd need to b used in the crystal mode with a longer heat up time? From the looks of it, it appears to be a pretty thick piece. The Switch is starting to catch on, more and more glass blowers are making attachments for it (with that recycler from @MavGlass on IG looking soo fcking hard!) and now were already getting dish/cup upgrades. I imagine It wont be long before something new for flower mode hits the horizon. Cant wait to get a 2nd attachment, if that new black had some new functionality to it, I would have ordered it ina heart beat. Having 2 attachments will be nice when it comes to Switching from oil to flower mode. I find myself not using the flower mode nearly as much as I’d like due to the bubblers flavor afterwards, mixing that oil n flower taste.

Don't quote me on this, but I think the heat up time is closer to the ceramic. It will probably be a little slower than the first ceramic nail since it's baked on instead of sitting inside, but faster than quartz.

My switch stopped working when i turn it on after it flashes with what mode its in the lights turn red and blink 5 times and the device shuts off tried pulling the battery out of the switch for a few minutes and trying again as well as have charged it but it just keeps shutting off right away any ideas on how to fix it ?

So bummed .. last night while my pops was in one of his drunken mood swings.. he threw something across the room (normally this man couldnt hit water out of a boat) my beautifully cleaned Switch was a good 15-20 ft away from him on display on my shelf.. but just my luck, sure enough whatever he threw had to hit my Switch head on, n not only breaking my brand new cap DD just sent me... but busted my bubbler to pieces, i swear a drunk will break anyones thing just because they know how much you care for it one of many reasons ill never pick up a drink)
