Dudes a genius at creating hype. People will pay a lot for hype and camp out in line, some people would even kill for it. Does this mean that it is justified?

I remember when oil rigs first hit the scene. Remember how much shops were charging for just a plain little rig? Is a rig anything more than a bubbler with a male joint instead of female and a dome instead of a slide? So why the price gouging?

The exact same can be said for a honey bucket. It is simply a dome or open top slide with a quartz swing. It doesn't require a lot more labor or complicate producing it. The quartz swings are readily available and cheap. I think that it is fair to say that if viewed from this perspective that a bucket should only cost at most 30 more than it would have as a slide or dome.

If the bucket that @adamC420 is describing would be around $70 in dome form then $100 for a bucket version seems fair. I own a rainbow worked dome blown and ti signed by Royal and it was only $70

I have a little story to tell you all. I wake up this morning and get steamed as usual. The wife comes in and hands me a box. Ok, my birthday is a month away, so it can't be that. I open it and MT9k is sitting on my table! It's mine!
I can't believe it. This thing is awesome. I did a quick water test and this thing sounds like a jet. Can't wait to try it out.
My wife wanted to get me something to cheer me up after I was diagnosed. First off, PM helped her with making the different decisions and was very patient with her. Trey and PM went above what they had to do. Thank you so much for that. Means more than you know. That woman takes so much crap since me getting sick, and you've helped her as well as me. It's awesome to see people who try to make other's lives better. Thank you.
Back to MT9k. Damn this thing is cool. It's my first real glass, made to order from the blower. Ok, I've been long winded enough. I now need to go collect cans so if Trey makes those honeybuckets I can get one for this. I'm definitely giving up my dab cherry to this thing.

I just came back to say holy shit. The MT9k just punched me in the face. It works so well with the LSV. I still have to monkey with technique, but damn I'm doing well enough to melt my face.

I LOVE LIFE
I've learned from dealing with my Chinese glass pieces that American glass has a mojo if you will. Those polished cuts and the awareness of where the percs and alignment of the piece makes a difference in performance. I have a mini recycler from Trey and a Recyclotube they are both absolute BEASTS. Thorn some may not agree with me,but a China piece of the same design would not hit as good

I have the Chinese version of what Thorn has. In fact, I let Trey borrow it so he had something to reference.
When he brought me Thorn's piece over complete, he said "That Chinese piece aint shit" and when we water tested it, we were like :tup::rockon::razz:

The perc design is definitely better. Like I said, tho, Id be really shocked if most people make their own percs. But percs are only a couple of bucks each so its not like its a big investment. I do think we had to buy 10 tho.

Thorn, enjoy the piece, my friend. We ALMOST put a little bit of a bend in the stem to make it easier to mate the LSV up but I thought given how long the LSV is, that might make things a real stretch for you.

That thing would be a sick dab rig. I can get you a quartz nail to fit it for like $40.00. One of Trey's buddies makes them locally. We'll see on the honeybuckets. I actually have an idea for something better, I just need to sit down and draw it out and see if he can make it.

I want a new piece and I'm trying to stay out of China. I figure even if it's only 40 or 50 bucks I could save a little more and have a Doughboy piece!!! I feel I now deserve a new piece since i went month and a half without a new piece. I got my Recyclotube on Sept. 6 and that's the last piece i bought. Its my daily driver now but I still have shelves to fill!!!:rockon::tup::clap::nod::science:

Just got the new double in. Order has already been placed for a single egg donut Klein (female joint).

HOLY DOUGHBOY it's amazing! :bowdown:

The pull is very smooth with a slight chug undertone if you keep the water level ridiculously high like I do (the whole can is full and the first 1/4 of the uptake tube has water).
It's the perfect balance in my opinion.

I have dabbed and hit the lotus out of it. Both were super smooth hits. :clap:

The mouthpiece is absolutely perfect. Trey took a round piece of glass rod I believe and smashed it flat and put a hole in the center. Exactly how I like it :tup:

And the base is a nice 10mm thick disk. Perfect for the clumsiness that happens around here!

Overall height is 13 inches. I thought it was a little big at the beginning for a rig but I'm already used to it and I actually like the longer mouthpiece tube because even using an adapter (or two) I'm still able to see the top of the nail/lotus. Plus it should pair perfect with my future E-nano and EVO (come on MassDrop get these back in so I can buy them already lol).

Now for a little early morning slow mo glass porn. Mmmmmmmm that vortex:rockon:
