Ive been trying that for months.. all he has is a shitty iPhone 4 for pictures and everything he's ever sent me looks pretty subpar. Ive even asked for his Facebook page credentials so I can update that and cant get them.

Hahaha, I figured that might be the case. For the Facebook page it might be easier to start from scratch if he gives the okay. Also would be good to get an Instagram account setup too, there's a massive dabbing/weed community there and lots of direct sales.

Does trey use a programmable kiln controller? If not he should look into one. The only time glass will explode is if it is thermal shocked. If he does use a kiln controller tell him to slow down the heat up time (ramp). After I switched over to using a controller I hardly ever get cracks, none the less explosions.

He does use a programmable kiln controller. He's worried this may be related to his last shipment of glass. Ive NEVER known anything to break on him before and he's had two pieces out of this last batch of glass explode.

Everyone waiting, Im trying to clear out the que and we'll get more stuff going. He has 3 pieces he needs to make. Double #3, Mystery Tube which I cant talk about and Tstat's piece.

Basically I dont want to be holding your money for a long time while youre waiting for pieces. Im not happy that Tstat's piece isnt done yet but he told me Id have it by the weekend.

Awesome, man. I was actually going to check in and see how things were progressing, but I didn't want to look impatient That said, I really am not impatient with this. In fact I don't even think its been 2 weeks, which is nothing when it comes to custom glass work!

I'm psyched to get this and I hope he gets his explosions straightened out, I hope mine doesn't explode, LOL. Again, thanks and don't worry about how long it takes for mine. You are doing a great service here and I hope to grab a few more after this one!

Is he using Simax? Schott? Corning? Chinese boro? I've seen Simax have issues like that before. I wont even touch the Chinese boro because of incompatibility issues.

I was wondering what glass he used, I like the build quality of my recycler! Don't know how it compares, but it's good enough for me!

He says the only stuff better is Schott and its a whole lot more expensive. The amount of knowledge he has about glass is staggering. He got his start working in laboratory glass manufacturing so the processes and different kinds of glass hes worked with is just nuts. He's like the Yoda of glass knowledge.

PoopMachine doesn't blow glass to my knowledge. His wife however is learning how to from Trey. Trey is the first co-owner of SYN, aka Doughboy, so he is the glass blower that has been creating all of these wonderful pieces. PoopMachine is Trey's friend and the middle man that hooks us up with Trey

I was looking at Deadhead's Klein and at how the colors transition and it made me want to see a Mystery Machine themed Klein. It would be down the road for me, so by all means, if someone likes the idea, take it. I just want to see what Trey does with those colors and that cartoon bubble like style.

So... like I tell you guys all the time, Trey is constantly refining his process and improving his designs. And something I think a lot of you would be shocked by is that this guy is basically doing every bit of this stuff by hand. He has a lathe to assist in rounding things out, etc but other than that, everything is done by hand. He has some basic glassworking tools he uses but compared to places that turn out a ton of stuff, he is working with a sliderule compared to them working with a super computer. But, thats just a testament to his talent.

That was seriously one of the nicest piece Ive ever used from him. Its for @BoogerMan and he told me that I could have tried has last piece so I took him up on that with this one. Mrs P and I both dabbed through it and it was phenomenal. I cant wait to see what the replacement for the replacement comes out looking like.

Thats Mrs P in my avatar. She is learning the art of glass blowing from Trey and has taken a few other classes from other instructors as well. We're setting up her own studio here at the house now.

Trust me.. if we were in a legal state, Mrs P would have her own YouTube channel. Mrs P has quickly become the Queen of Dabs. She's already made some hand pipes among other things.. maybe she'll have her own line of products one day.. she already has a name "Dirty Girl Glassworks"
