Does MMJ save lives on the road?

In other articles along the same line it was suggested that beer and wine sales dropped after after a state
legalized MM which would support the substitution theory. I'm not sure as alcohol has a pretty firm grip in the marketplace. I don't drink alcohol which is simply a personal choice as I never liked it all that much .
I am a professional driver and take the safety aspect of the job seriously and I think all drivers have a responsibility to themselves and society to drive safely and courteously. I agree with Tweek who has no time for idiot drivers. Here in Canada there is a charge called " stunt driving" which if caught doing something really crazy the police tow your car away for a few days and you walk home without a license which you have to apply to get back.

The stunt driving charge has done nothing to stop idiots on the road...this is why I am a firm believer in no second chances when it comes to driving. You drive like an asshole and do things to threaten the lives and safety of others, you don't deserve a license anymore.

Most of the guys who have their car impounded, just wait it out and then brag to their friends about being bad asses.

My pet peeve is tailgaters. I was in a very serious accident about ten years ago...three cars totaled , caused by an aggressive tailgater. Around the same time some friends of ours lost their 25 year old daughter to a tailgater in a dump truck. Why do they think its OK to get into your space?
Do they think I'm going to speed up if they ride my ass?

My pet peeve is people that drive erratic speeds on a smaller 2-lane highway and don't know how to use their cruise control (so no matter how hard you try you end up having to press on your breaks to avoid getting too close while waiting for a passing lane) ... Pick a reasonable speed, and turn on your cruise control and stick to it

Or even worse ... people that drive just at or below the speed limit when no passing lanes are available and then accelerate to 50km/hour over the speed limit as soon as a passing lane comes up (forcing you to make the choice between passing when no passing lane is available when you get a chance or trying to pass them at a speed that will get your car impounded if you wait for the passing lane ...)
