Well first, I don't feel that the vapour just "condenses" and stays there. I feel that the lungs absorb and cleanse...
At what temp do you think that the vapour hits our lungs?
It's free orange juice- cups 50p!No free lunch!?
I dont think its because MJ is an expectorant likely due to irritation of the respiratory tract.
Marijuana is an expextorent. Anytime you are congested and vape you're gonna gonna have to hock some loogies!
Something I'm starting to notice, and was about to post my own thread about before seeing this, is the amount of fine particles that come through in the vapor. I've been using a glass J hook and there are bits of debris all the way up to the end of the stem, so some of that is making its way in the lungs.Yes I get mucus in the mornings especially after a heavy vaporizing session the night before. I dont think its because MJ is an expectorant likely due to irritation of the respiratory tract.
You might try drinking more fluids. The mucus in the lungs needs water to stay thinned out. You don't want it getting phlegm like, or you will get the feeling you describe. I also have something to drink when I vape. Vaping is drying, and fluids help a great deal. As we get older, our thirst signals diminish, so I make extra efforts to stay hydrated. A big reason to force fluids when you are sick, is to keep mucus membranes moist, and the mucus thinned. Everything works better properly hydrated. If your mouth is dry, so is everything else.I find that vaping makes me thirsty and sneezy, and my lungs feel a bit sticky and heavy compared to before I started vaping
I'm pretty active, run 20-30 miles a week and I've not noticed a decline in my cardiovascular capacity but I do worry about my lungs lately, I don't remember them feeling this 'sticky' when I used to smoke cannabis, then again I was a lot younger...

No, I noticed an increase in the mucus when I smoked.
Thanks for the ping! Although I did not intend for Magma/Obsidian to address asthmatics, I've found that the humidified vapor greatly helps prevent attacks from happening during vaping. Let me know if you'd like other information! Cheers!Well I'm about a year in to vaping (herb not ecig) my brown mucus has completely disappeared. I feel like I have less mucus now compared with smoking but I still get a bit of a cough/sticky lungs.
I don't get anywhere near as ill as the people around me, they are always sniffling and cold/flu/stomach bugs so I think my immune system is better. I also eat a bit healthier *I see diet as what you eat from day to day not purging the body but balance, I eat a lot of fruit and veg but will allow myself to have the odd snack food or occasional pizza. I've been craving different foods and finding dislikes in others (taste buds/metabolism changing vs smoking?)
I do have to hydrate more. I can find long vape sessions harsh, I drink a lot of tea cause I'm british-hot drinks are good with a vape. Cold water too. I got a @Magma_Industries add on for my volcano. This helps, I also like using water with any other vape but do find there's a sacrifice in flavour when using water.
I also find that I cough less when vaping rosin or hash/keif pollen pressed. Would this be a reduction in plant matter, causing less irritation to my lungs? Sometimes vaping herb makes me sneeze, maybe a slight allergy?
I could be more active but I do walk a lot.
100% ! Was OP a smoker prior to smoking? One of the reasons I started vaping was to Reduce Mucus, which vaping did considerably compared to smoking , in my personal experience .
