The saga continues......

So my 2nd SiC cup... I didn't crimp it, was gonna see if mebbe I didn't have to.....
Lost the sleeve when it fell apart so I'm waiting for a new sleeve from DT !
Divine Tribe has been SO generous and helpful with me over the years !

So I was on the quartz for a while, during my SiC outage, cuz I couldn't find my Ti cup...
Then I found it !
Snapped the wire off somehow trying to install it, so got out my spare heater/spacer combo that I bought from DT....
After a bit of work, got my Ti cup on, almost right !
He he. It's good enuff for me, works great. A little tipped to the side, no problem.

Just wanted to share that I really am happy with the Ti cup. Also REALLY happy with the the customer support !
Heats up quick ,easy to clean, good taste. The quartz reveals a bit more taste in my oil perhaps, but not much.

You can check out my review on the Ti cup if you like.

Here's a pic of my attempt at a Ti install ha ha , but what the heck, it works fine !
Cheers !

So I put a Peak ceramic coil in my V4 and have been resting my AlN insert on top of it and using it with my bottomless banger and may be the best mobile device yet. If I can figure out how to get the AlN to stay in place it would be perfect, however it works fine for when I am sitting at home. I am using it over my e-nail now, and go back and forth between this and my High Five Duo.

Do you have an AIN for your enail or just the peak size? Larger inserts will not move so much. I use an 18mm or 19mm OD insert with the bottomless banger regularly.

I have the peak size and a 30mm insert so unfortunately I'm unable to try that out, but I may have to upgrade to a 25mm soon.

Keep an eye out...30mm OD bangers are coming out soon, but that's for another thread as they will require a different heater/atomizer base.
I can’t wait! That will be another game changer for me. It’s incredible how much better this works than my enail.

I have to agree. I love my enail for its simplicity of never having to touch buttons or consider timing or anything other than drop, cover and pull. But the DTv4 with my bottomless banger and an 18.5mm SiC insert I was fortunate enough to cop actually produces thicker and smoother hits than my enail with a ruby insert it seems. I think the slow rise in temperature on mods in TC is part of it but thats a small change in temperature. I have compared both methods many times with a k type temp reader and matched temps but the mod always seems to be a little more efficient and productive.

Are you doing cold starts with the v4?

Oh sweet, Ti cups are back in stock. Just ordered some along with new o-rings and one of those mini bubblers. My V4 is still going strong and it’s my sole concentrate device these days.

Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered one to try it out.

I also just ordered a Sai TAF with the Ti bucket so I can do a head to head face off. Plus I also spent another 18 bucks on a Motar and even though it's not Ti it will be a fun comparison between the three.

Thanks, now I don't need to and will wait your opinion.

I will applesolutely post back with my thoughts. But I'm not gonna be able to give feedback on how powerful the hits are. I am a vape wimp and usually drop a half rice grain to get me where I need to go. Sort of like dab microdosing. Maybe one of them will let me load up a larger amount and puff on it through the night, but in past vapes the flavor disappears quickly that way.

I read a post here previously where someone talked about a tiny dab just charring in the bucket quickly. I am hoping I can avoid that with all three.

I kind of gave up on my V4 quartz cup. When I hit it, the vapor is wispy and I'm always left wondering what's going on in there. So I keep removing the housing to look in. Anyway, hoping the experience is better with the Ti cup. Worth the 10 bucks to try.

Eventually I'm gonna find a portable e-rig that will stop me from using my terp pen as a go-to. Not yet though.

Just repaired my old SiC cup....

I had a SiC cup but had lost the sleeve/nut when it fell apart in its infamous way.
Got a new sleeve and nut for it, crimped it, and now I'm good to go with SiC again.

I honestly think it uses less concentrate to deliver the same amount of vapor.

Happily vaping thanks to the team at Divine Tribe.

Got my DT accessories today and I am delighted. I never got the upgraded o-rings so I was still using the original black ones and the cover took a bit of force to get on and off. With the green rings it’s so much easier to use. That alone is huge.

The Hubble Bubble is impressive. I have a sneaky Pete Scorpion bubbler. It’s fine in a pinch, but nowhere near as strong or effective as larger glass. I was worried the HB would be more of the same but it’s far exceeded my expectations. It chugs powerfully and bubbles with serious strength. It cools the vapor considerably. With the silicone tip I was able to generate damn thick clouds. I’m impressed.

And then there’s the Ti cup. What a difference from the quartz! Not better or worse, but noticeably different performance. The cup heats up so quickly I had to scramble to get the cover on. The taste was muted compared with the quartz, but the clouds were thicker and hit harder with the Ti. An excellent variation to the quartz.

I’m looking forward to trying the SiC cup. I check every few days to see if they’re back in stock and I’m on the email list too.

Hey @Monk Debate , glad to hear it !

Yeah I prefer the Ti cup over the quartz for performance, but you're right, the quartz tastes better.
The SiC cup is the best of both worlds, taste and performance. Heats up quick, I just put the cap on before firing. It's not immediate, the temp has to climb to the right spot, however its quick and then, it's magic.

SO glad the @divinetribe team hooked me up with a replacement sleeve/nut for the SiC cup I had, my 2nd cup. First one has the bottom peg sheared off, from when I was replacing the heater/spacer. Sucker was stuck on there so I gently pulled, and the bottom peg snapped off. So I have a flat bottomed SiC cup, if anyone has any ideas on how I can use it...!

The SiC cup uses less concentrate to produce its amazing amount of vapor. My concentrate use has almost halved going to the SiC cup.
Hopefully the v2 SiC will be out soon and everyone can enjoy this.

I also agree that the Hubble Bubble is an amazing tool. In fact, I"m preferring it most times to the bottomless banger for a couple of reasons.
One is ease of use, I can use it while working with the PC. The other is frankly it does a better job at gettng more vapor vs. air intake then I find in the BB's. However I do both, depending on my desires. I just end up using the Hubble Bubble more often.

The green o-rings fit well on the newer V4's, old ones not so much. On the old V4, the black o-rings fit the BB better. Or my red ones that are similar size.

SEARCH for the treasure...
That Hubble Bubble 5” tall looks a lot like the Sneaky Pete “Sceptre”, which is 7” tall, I bought the 14mm version. It’s ok.

The spout looks similar but the airpath and water flow path look completely different. Trust me, the Hubble Bubble is far more than just okay.

I’m very excited to try the SiC cup. It sounds absolutely heavenly!

Speaking of the Hubble Bubble, what is your best method for filling it? I overfilled it and had to adjust a few times before I got it at a good level.

You know, the first 2 or 3 times I just over-filled it, sucked until I didn't get any water in my mouth (drink the water or spit it out), then memorized where the fill line was. After some use, you'll see a thin vapor line showing you where the water sits, too.

Here's a shot of some sugar with the SiC cup.

Fixing the SiC cup, if one needs to.
A comment on Reddit recommends to crimp the sleeve until it wont go on, heat it until it does go on, then allow it to cool and shrink into place.
I have repaired my SiC cup using the method in this video without heating, and it's working great.

All the best !

Is there any way to use the DTV4 without any silicone o-rings? If not, are there any similar 510 wax atomizers that are glass or titanium and don't use silicone?
