FYI if your Primo Mini's has a "weak battery" message, you might need to tighten down the screw under the USB micro port with a Torx T6.

or is this more of a hit, refill, hit, refill kind of situation?
It works the best with this usage style.
Any updates on the crucible cups?
New gear from Source looks pretty good, but I'd rather hold out and keep supporting DT. I really like my V3 but I feel it could be so much better with a crucible cup. I don't use the V3 much anymore.
Hi, new DTv3 user. Love this thing, except I'm trying to work out how to get more than one good hit off of it at a time, or is this more of a hit, refill, hit, refill kind of situation? I'm using the "pulse the doughnut, brush on some melted material, take a hit" method, but I'm getting really one really good turn and then I'll need to refill. Is there a way to put more on so I can get a little session going?
Is there another 510 atomizer that the experts recommend that I can use for multiple hits?
IMO It's not even worth hitting concentrate if you are looking for a design like this. You end up huffing on reclaim hits the whole time, it's counter productive. I understand the allure and have tried many other atomizers looking to do the same thing; I'm back to load as you go.
@Danksta what are you using now?
Shame it's SS though.
What's the issue with SS?
like the ones Source uses or puffcoFlavor. A ceramic plate would be better.

If you take a DTV3 atomizer and remove the donut and cup, you can install a Source Terra 2 heater which is a ceramic crucible with Tungsten wires running throughout so the walls and floor heat and it can be run on TC. Basically its a bigger Puffco Plus.I have a Puffco+, it's been great so far. Incredibly sweet for going out at night, no fuss no muss.

You can even take a Plus dart and put a layer or two of silicone whip/tube around the black rubber on the dart and push out the splash gaurd on the DTV3 and it will fit in place so you have a dart!

DTv3+Primo mini is a great combo. You should be able to set temp units to F in the profile, but it may have been moved to a regional setting in recent builds. I prefer to use TCR for my donuts - 200-230 for 10mm and 450-500 for recent 13mm donuts. For reference Ni TCR is around 600.New DTV3 owner here. I have it paired with a Primo Mini. Thank you to invertedisdead for some initial info.
New to AF and have two questions on settings I was hoping for some help with.
- Temp = Would I set at 174 since it looks like it's measured in Celsius which would be 345 Fahrenheit, correct?
- Coil Material = TFR ni or Nickel 200?
So far I:
- Renamed profile
- Set power to 33 watts
- Set mode to TC / enabled PI regulator / Range = 0 / P Value = 1000 / I Value = 20
- Set puff cutoff to 15 seconds
Any other recommendations?
Can't wait to take this for a whirl and I'll post back impressions. Thank you!

Thx biz - is nickel 200 the right coil material drop down?
For TCR do you just need to check or enable Nickel 200?
Can anyone help with switching to Fahrenheit for temperature please? I'm using the latest build 170914. Thank you!
For TCR you choose that option and then supply the number. This number basically represents the delta in resistance per degree (C) - allowing the mod to calculate temperature of the coil from it's actual resistance. I prefer TCR becaue it allows me to change TCR values to get on screen temperature control to show [mostly] acurate values. I do this by measuring actual temperature on the donut with either IR or a thermocouple.Thx biz - is nickel 200 the right coil material drop down?
