Mike is shipping my piece today. I went with something very similar to what has been posted here before, but I thought I'd share.

Got my new Distilled piece on Saturday. High quality piece with no imperfections. I paired it up with my Evo for the night. Hits well with good balance of flavor and diffusion, good vortex. Will definitely be a piece that I will put in heavy rotation. In hindsight, a slightly wider base would have made it more stable for inverted EVO use, otherwise, I am super happy.

Mine is just over 16" and was a very affordable/high value mid-$100's. Dont want to be exact because things have gotten busier for him......

Mike is the realness, Sometimes it takes a few days for him to get back to you but its worth it. I purchased a piece from Oil Glass Contraptions thinking man why didnt I just go to Mike in the first place. Hes an excellent dude, has done right by me and everyone else on this forum. You can get a heady piece from most artists for under $200 but the quality will be nowhere near mikes. His classic recycler design and kleins could be in a production line.


1st Pic I got from mike a few months ago, copy of Blankriders. 2nd pic Mike sent me this morning, said it should be done today lets hope. Jah Bless

The base on that top piece is so sexy my pants no longer fit. I really like his style.

It is a wonderful day today!

Mike just kikd me and sent me these lovely pics and said his first attempt at the donut Klein was a success! He wanted to make a mini version first for practice, but he thinks a larger version is doable.

I'll keep everyone updated :D

It looks like that mini practice one he did is only about 4-5 inches tall.

Looks similar in size to yours @IWAW. Maybe slightly larger than yours but not much IMO. And btw your rig looks like it has the chicken pox hahaha :rofl:I love it :leaf:

I bet Mike didn't charge you an arm and leg either. Most sellers would easily charge $100 for that thickness. Mike is definitely a good guy!

Anyways back to the donut klein,

I requested mine to be 10-12 inches tall with a 20 or so hole perc so it purrs and an 18mm female joint.

I asked if he was going to make a full size one first for practice before making my final one.

I'll post pics of a full sized one as soon as it gets made :D

Not as accurate as I'd like because I used a ruler instead of a caliper, but it's just about 4mm thick from what I can tell.

Didn't cost an arm and a leg, maybe a few fingers :lol:. I believe Mike's charging ~$40 per. He's definitely someone you can rely on. With his extremely reasonable prices and level of quality I find it extremely hard not to give into the GAS.

Has anyone heard from Mike recently? He's doing a recycler + a repair for me, last I heard from him was that I was up next and that it should be shipped by the end of the week, that was 11 days ago. Numerous e-mails have received no response.
