Thank you!! I like his work a lot and its reasonably affordable ($3.5 k glass works of art just aren't in my vaping budget LOL).
I take it that you are totally satisfied with the quality of his work (as does it seem is everybody else who has dealt with him) so i will reach out to him shortly after giving my desires more thought.
Oh, I have another question if you still have patience for me....my C2 glass is 18 mm and I thought that this would give me more options in the future. But I see many/most of the high end stuff in 14 mm. Any view on why and why you went one size vice the other?
Cheers
My first glass piece was 18mm. I thought I would appreciate the extra airflow but I find with vaping it doesn't really make a difference, to me at least.
After that I got some vapes that are native 14mm or easily adaptable to 14mm, and I found that I would have rather had a 14mm piece. Just for simplicity's sake, I have a couple of reducers and they are easy to find and cheap but it's nice to not have to worry about them.
A 14mm piece can be used with no adaptor with the Grasshopper and the Original and VonG VapCaps, and probably more vapes I don't know about.
I recently got a recycler that's 14mm, I really like it and I have no problems with airflow.
I wouldn't be against an 18mm piece at this point, but I would probably use it with a glass reducer. I would not want to buy any 18mm adapters for my vapes or GonGs at this point. I would rather buy the 14mm version, that way I could use it with a reducer in a 18mm pipe, or native in a 14mm pipe.
And now I think I'm officially hooked on recyclers so I think I'll be getting one of these from Distilled Glass before too long. I've got a couple ideas for custom work.
