Those are pretty small vapes so about any size piece will work. I like bigger cans on pieces used for flowers, just my preference.

I finally got my recycler safe in my hands! UPS took forever about it, was in Dallas Thursday night, but didn't get here til today. But the wait is over, and it was more then worth it 
The piece looks sexy as hell. I love the colors, the base, the mouthpiece, the gridded in line perc, the marble feet, the vortex, everything
I remember @John Lewus and a few others wanted to see an EVO mounted on one, and in comparison to a Matrix Clear. Here are two such pics:
The piece is sturdy enough with the EVO on it that I don't worry about it too much. The Matrix is a little more stable with the EVO on it though. Keep in mind though, my base is a little smaller due to the cone style. Most of the others in this thread have a larger base/water capacity, and are likely as stable as the Matrix Clear.
As far as other comparisons between recycler and the Matrix, the Matrix has MUCH less drag. From my understanding though, that will be the case compared against all recyclers. I love both pieces, I will need more time to form better appreciations for their differences.
I really do love the piece, and couldn't be happier about my transaction with Mike. My piece was $275, but would have been in the $150ish range if there weren't the worked sections.
My contact with Mike was smooth. Not too much communication, but a few updates along the way about when the piece would be started, when it was started, etc. Just enough to keep me up to date with what was going on. Any questions were answered.
The piece was shipped expertly, wrapped securely in bubblewrap, then surrounded by styrofoam peanuts in a sufficiently large box. There was no chance of breakage.
Here's a video with a milkshot of some Oregon Pineapple flowers in the EVO. In the process of uploading two more video's using the VXNail and some shatter and nectar. Probably going to post them in the EVO thread.

I will say that the price was more than reasonable for a piece of this size. Factoring that this is custom piece makes the price outstanding.

If you get the chance, could you take some more pics, but against a white or black background? The tie-dye is cool but messes me up trying to see the colors on the piece. And I'd really like to see the colors on this piece.

I would definitely like to see one he makes and I would be curious of the price
If it's $300 or less that would be impressive (that's what I paid for my Doughboy Double Recycler).I may even get a second double recycler if he can do it for that price. I'll let someone else go before me though. All I can say is double recyclers are awesome. I love mine!

I paid $135 shipped for my recycler with the promise of bringing mike more business. I am glad you guys jumped on and didn't make me a liar.
I believe that his standard clear recycler price is about $150 but you have to take into account that every transaction is different and every piece is custom made which affects the price. Also when a blower becomes more well known and has a greater demand prices rise.
Mike is very skilled and a majority of what he makes isn't even pictured on his instagram. Hit him up and ask him if he will do a double and how much. I doubt it would be more than another hundred in labor so I would guess $250 shipped which is a super deal.

Yeah I really like Mikes more modern style look to his pieces. And that vortex is just insane. Going to email him for pricing on a single recycle that is exactly the same as @llamaman001 just closer to 10-12 inches and a double recycler before he gets too popular and has to raise pricing. I'm hoping $400-$450 for both pieces

so excited! I know my girlfriend won't let me keep two double recyclers (she says I need to stop buying glass so I told her what if I sold a piece when I wanted a new one and she agreed. Gotta keep the collection at 15 pieces lol) so I'll have to compare this one to Doughboys and see which one wins and which one will be put up for sale.

Double, and like you, like @llamaman001's piece...however I want mine at a minimum to be 12" or higher. I put in that it doesn't have to be worked but I'm not opposed. Still having DoughBoy make me that "special" one that I've been hinting at...it is not a recycler though and I may have him do a klein.

Nice! Can't wait to see them both! I also want a single klein with a female joint. Not sure who I will have make this though...
My single is going to be almost identical to @llamaman001 pieces except it will have a height of 12" max with an 18mm female joint. Also, it will have a different mouthpiece (Toro style, see green mouthpiece pic below). I like the large diameter to make a nice seal with my lips haha
The double I think I want to do a solid 7-10mm thick base instead of the hollow base so it looks a little different than the single. I think I will also have the mouthpiece connected to the recycling chambers like the pic below. I think it looks so clean this way IMO. The double will also have the Toro style mouthpiece. I will probably keep the mouthpiece tube straight and at about a 60 degree angle (like below) since the single with have the standard bent mouthpiece tube like Mike normally does.

Damn @BoogerMan you really know what you want...I'm terrible at that...I know basic look and operation, after that, I leave it to the artist as I am clueless at that point.

Thanks @CrazyDiamond! I am getting better and better with each purchase.
I failed to mention a few things on some other items I have had made and I was just not quite as happy as I should have been. Everyone has his/her preference and sometimes my preference is different than the glass blowers. So instead of letting the glass blower do what they like I have realized that if I'm gonna spend over a few hundred dollars on something then it needs to make ME 100% happy and not the glass blower lol.
So now I send a nice little list to the blower with pics and everything so that way I know exactly what I'm getting. No more sad surprises when I do this. I'm probably a pain in the ass customer, but hey if I like the piece then I will rave about it everywhere online and in person so I see that as compensation for me being a pain haha.

After spending more time with the recycler I really do love it even more. The flare on the mouthpiece is absolutely perfect. @blankrider was right, it hugs my lips beautifully.
The thickness of the glass used in the piece is reassuringly thick too. I haven't owned/used many high end pieces, so can't really compare against them. But I can say that I have no fear of the piece breaking from anything more then a severe drop. You could pick the piece up by the most fragile part, the return stem, and not have an issue. Not that I make that a habit, just stating it's strong
I love the reflections/magnifications in the base. There's a sort of 3-dimensionality to the base too. You can sort of see a ripple in some of the colors. I can foresee myself getting lost in the base next time some psychedelics come into play
I love the size of the piece too. Large enough to withstand the EVO mounting it, yet small enough for myself to hold it in one hand to hit it if I wish to.
All of the below pics have the flash on, except for the second one. Just for comparisons sake. The colors in real life are closer to the pictures with the flash on. I only have my cell phone camera, but they came out fairly well for that imo.

I know what you mean. I have my email pushed to my phone. So anytime my phone would ding for an email, I'd pick it up as quickly as I could, hoping to be an email about my recycler!
I'd be curious how many recyclers he's made this past month. You know there are some that are ordering that just aren't posting about it.

Can't wait to get my Distiller Glass single and double recycler!!!!
I wanted to get them made before he gets known and has 10k followers on IG and starts having to charge twice as much (which I feel like would still be fairly reasonable for how badass his vortex is!)
