Yea, How are you supposed to learn things like, that an oven is hot? as for me, Years of kitchen work has given me 'asbestos' fingers.
But the clamps are handy with keeping two pieces together or whip hose management or around the lab for other projects. Look forward to hearing about the improvements and additions to the @DDave Mod family.

When I worked in kitchens I to had the heat proof fingers too. Nothing like pulling a tray out the oven with bare hands.

Now I've got builders hands that are banged up and covered in calluses so still mostly heat proof lol.

My EQ had been getting a little neglicted lately It lives in my shed and I just don't have time to get out there at the moment. Plus I've been dabbing lots of rosin

Washed my wand screen the other day and compared it to the stock basket screen. It's definitely constructed a lot better and seems to stay cleaner.

@DDave, I noticed you have 'replenishment kits' available and a The DDave Da Buddha & SSV Mod Kit. (Here is the thread for that.)
Glad I now have that option to get those extra screens for my kit and other mods. I just bought a downstem that I might be able to use in a Neo-SSV/Neo-Log setup.
Why? I want to rotate the wand to prevent the center of the pack from scorching during a rip session. But you already came up with a solution for the SSV/Da Budda users.
The E-nano and log users have the same wand packing issues that SSV/Da Budda has. So perhaps you have an answer for them?
Already like the look of newer tongs. Look forward to the other things you are sourcing out.

Below is the Cloud EVO screens that PuffitUp has for sale. I like my 14mm setups, But If the tip hats to 14mm wand were somewhat deeper, there would be less of a possibility of clogging occurring, I'm guessing anyway. I don't tip pack the 14mm wand with dry herbs for that reason. Unless I'm using very fine materials.

Perhaps the EVO screens would fit your wands better than the stock EQ for an 18mm setup. But I like the mesh of your source. &

I may have missed it, but is there a recommended mouthpiece to use for a whip setup? I was using the one that came with the Q and it's a little too small since the new hose is a little larger. Have found some things to use around the house but it's not really ideal. Any ideas on what I could use? Maybe the SSV/DBV mouthpiece? I can't seem to find a size for that and not sure if it'll fit. Just need a simple glass piece.

Much feedback relating to difficulty initially installing. The first sourced screens were bullet-proof... and that being Titanium laminated in Kevlar! (Not the screens! They're Stainless Steel... Nope, that being the bullets they could deflect! ) The new screens are more flexible and a bit finer on the mesh. There is no change in the fact that they fit the adapters completely... no wobble, no herb slipping around the sides onto the heater... just easier to deal with.

I've also doubled the number of them that come with each kit. 6 included with any kit.

Just received my full mod kit this morning! It's a day-after-xmas miracle!
Quite clever bomb-proof packaging and I love the thickness on these pieces, esp the tubing adapters - even thicker than the vape bros piece I use.

Anxious to try the new 14mm reduction gear as this is a new step for me - I might not report back for a while! Cheers, @DDave !
