I wasn't exactly sure if this would be the correct thread for this, but since it might be of interest for future developments I decided to post it here.

From what I understand the EQ doesn't work too well with concentrates since the heating element is below the bowl. So everything that goes beyond a little bit of wax packed with some herb will cause oil to drop onto the screen and the heating element.

Now, I don't think such a piece exists, but do you think the following design might work?

The "dish" that holds the concentrate would be heated by the rising air. The dish should be as close to the heating element as possible. This would mean the concentrate in the dish would be heated by a mixture of conduction and convection.

It's nothing serious, just a thought on what might make the EQ a bit more suitable for concentrates. Maybe this design wouldn't work at all, that's why I thought I'd just put it out there.

Kit size is independent of Water Tool Adapter Size.
I can include an 18mm Water tool adapter with a 14mm Kit or...
A 14mm Water Tool adapter with an 18mm Kit.

The kit works with either configuration equally as well. The reason I offer either size is in the hopes that someone who obtains a kit, if they already have a water pipe, that they have either 14mm or 18mm female connector on their pipe. (these are two most common sizes).

Could you perhaps send me a PM if you have the 18mm only kit back in stock? Right now I have to save up some money but I'm going to buy one somewhere not too far in the future.

As for my previous question, I feel kinda dump lol. The difference between 18mm & 14mm you meant is the size of the cyclone bowl lol, I thought it was for a specific connector at the end of the tube.

My extreme Q is arriving today but as far as I read the new packages only come with 1 elbow whereas the other one is replaced by a new one specially for the balloon. If I get it right, you offer a straight connector with the kit that fits in the cyclone bowl right? Because then I can just use the stock elbow adapter for my bubbler.

No problem. I have an email list going so I can notify those interested. Can you PM your email address and I'll add you to the list?

The eq kits I offer come with a wand (replaces elbow) and water tool adapter choice of 14mm or 18mm. The complete kit comes with both sizes.

Am very happy to announce that I've received stock of glass pieces.
They are beautiful, same quality as last batch from a new glass supplier.

To this end, I've opened up www.ddavemods.com listings for these kits.


I have a bit of bad news as well. It would seem as of lately that my luck with carriers is not the best. Over a month ago, I reordered more herb loading funnel stock and it may appear that the shipment was lost. I've opened a claim with the carrier and in anticipation of them telling me my packages were lost, I've also ordered another batch of funnels.


If you do choose to order an 18mm Kit now, you will receive an email asking if you'd like the order shipped ASAP or held until the arrival of the funnels.

I just wanted to give ddave a shoutout for making the glassware that makes my eq rock. I bought the full kit and have used it daily over a year now.

I managed to break a couple of the bowls but he had replacements when I needed them.

Ddave mods ftw!

Is there going to be a complete kit again? I currently don't see one listed on your website. Also, is there no herb loading funnel included in v3 anymore?

My friend, no problem.... more pics to follow.

Yes, that cooler can be used with water. But tried it dry and was surprised. Cool and more flavor than when I used water.

Received the kit yesterday! It was here a few days earlier but I wasn't at home, and I was required to pay extra tax for it so they couldn't drop it off at the neighbours.

Tried it out asap, beginning with the whip through water tool.

Maaaan I got way too high, I really like it. But, my Arizer Air somehow gives thicker, mikier clouds which look more satisfying, especially through a water piece. The extreme Q + your mod does make me higher, which is what I want. But it still looks like there is barely any vapor for some reason.

I haven't used the extreme q through a water piece before, so I don't know if I should expect thicker, milkier vape, but I always had the idea that a desktop vape would be able to produce thicker clouds, I see this alot in videos aswell. This does not disappoint me, since for me its all about the high, but I expected more vapor in the first place. Maybe I've got the wrong idea though.

I'm using the wand, the 18mm f/f adapter and the 18mm water piece adapter all connected with the included tube. Is it perhaps better to use the stock tube instead?

As for the balloon, which I mainly use the extreme q for lately, it is perfect! Damn that thing goes full of vapor with your mod, it amazed me! Got me knocked out too, exactly what I wanted!

I am very satisfied, thank you very much! I guess I still have to figure out how to use the extreme q the best way, but so far so good! Will recommend this mod to people.
