I wasn't exactly sure if this would be the correct thread for this, but since it might be of interest for future developments I decided to post it here.
From what I understand the EQ doesn't work too well with concentrates since the heating element is below the bowl. So everything that goes beyond a little bit of wax packed with some herb will cause oil to drop onto the screen and the heating element.
Now, I don't think such a piece exists, but do you think the following design might work?
The "dish" that holds the concentrate would be heated by the rising air. The dish should be as close to the heating element as possible. This would mean the concentrate in the dish would be heated by a mixture of conduction and convection.
It's nothing serious, just a thought on what might make the EQ a bit more suitable for concentrates. Maybe this design wouldn't work at all, that's why I thought I'd just put it out there.
