Dani Fusion by Battery-free Ganz

Mine came that way, too, and I agree that it's probably something reacting inside the leather slip pouch. My Fusion 2 had zero manufacturing residue present anywhere on the device. I always clean received items (and those I ship out lol), but it likely wouldn't have needed it. Heating or polish pads will bring it back nicely.

It did take me aback a little bit when it arrived, so maybe they should do something to keep it from happening.

Ok, I understand, indeed, I received my Dani Fusion 2.0 Artemis without waxed leather case (and mine was all clean)

Does the poker get restocked often or should I just pull the trigger on one of the other models? Looking for an analogue vape I can use natively.

Another update for anyone still interested in my saga with The Flare:

After a few more back and forths with BFG they have kinda stopped responding. They still didn't really have any solutions, just wanted me to send my Flare and my Fusion 2.0 in so they could determine where the issue was. I asked some follow up questions and haven't heard anything but tbh don't love the idea that I have to send all my stuff in and they "may" be able to figure it out...

At this point I kinda just want a refund. Pretty disappointing experience with BFG

My recc is DO NOT buy the Flare for now

What do you use to adjust the bowl size? I assume I have to push from the bottom like a Dynavap but I don't have anything small enough.

Does anyone have experience with the metal and the short wooden stem? I'm very happy with the short wooden stem, but I'd also like the metal stem. I'm just concerned that it might get significantly hotter. Thank you.

Made a pipe for my Fusion 2. Love having something keep the hot tip off the table while it cools, so I can just set it and forget it.

I just poke a dyna intercooler/5mm tube behind it, but the metal magnetic decapper tool WesleyPipesAndMore sells is actually the perfect size for pushing the screen in evenly. The Driptip on the Fusion also is the perfect size for slowly inserting and seating a screen.

The standard metal stem is super pretty and has enough mass to not really heat up much on one or two stem loads.

This. It transfers some heat, but as long as you don't heat up 3+ bowls in a row, it should be ok.

As for the screen: I'm using the screen-removal/position rod, included in most current vaphit sets.
Else: get the diameter and search for some spare axles (f.e. for 3d printers)

I have a question about the fusion 2.0 mouthpiece. Is it 9mm like the tip, or is it a different size? On the site it seems like the mouthpiece is smaller. I make wooden stems and would like to add a mouthpiece to some of my set ups.

This I would need to confirm by measuring, if I remember correctly they fit both sides.
8.5mm is the diameter of the 510 drip tips and the o rings seal it I’d expect the stem to be 9mm on both sides, will get the caliper and measure but currently at work.

Both ends are 9mm. It fits "standard" 510 drip tips, but the BFG mouthpieces have a deeper insertion. From my measurements, most 510 drip tips target 8.5mm for the piece, with fluctuations up to 8.7mm. They vary wildly from there based on oring, with a general target of an 8.95mm to 9mm inlet compatibility.

So just make the mouthpiece end on your stems the same compatibility as your Fusion tip end and you'll be good to go.

Been using my DF2 for a few days now and nothing hits as good as this. Am sure tis because of the tight vapor path.
Yeah I think so too. It's the best vaporiser I've used for mtl hits and right up there with the solo 3 as the best through a water pipe.

Any compact torch recommendations? I've heard a a triple jet lighter works well, I just don't want to carry around a big torch.

The vertigo triple flame torch is good

Truth, it's a good lighter. I wish it wasn't made of so much plastic because I'm afraid to ISO wipe it off to sanitize.

@tester21 Contrary to popular belief, I think a pinpoint (both jets angled together) double jet torch is the sweet spot. Triple feels like it overcooks and doesn't have the accuracy to heat a single spot on the cap like the rings reliably. I really like my Kollea double pinpoint, but there are many styles. Just make sure if you get something with a lid that it flips well out of the way of the top so you have room for the Fusion over the jets.

Actually, with my first cap, BFG suggested over-heating a few times (when empty) and also aiming the jet into the clicker hole for 10 secs, and finally suggested tapping it. So it could well be that it'll improve as it beds in and gets more use - expansion/contraction cycles. I can only live in hope!
(Hmmm, with hindsight, I have to admit there's a good chance I may not live in hope at all, but that's nothing to do with BFG or the Dani; sometimes, life's just a bitch y'know? 😶)

Thank you!!!!! My click was barely audible and now it's not perfect but definitely better.

I very like BFG Artemis stem 2.0 so much that I designed an SUS304 8mm female to 9mm male adapter for this :brow:

I enjoy working with the 8mm interface and TM sized stem (these are the two sizes on which my future vape projects are based). So I thought of something that would fit in with both, allows you to use all 8mm interface vape with TM stems and of course use any 8mm interface on a 9mm stem (BFG stems are so great ). An reverse adapter from 9mm female to 8mm male are also planned (to use the Dani Fusion 2.0 tip with any 8mm interface or TM stems).

An example with a TM stem by Ed's TnT:

Please note, that only TM stem compatible with the cooling unit are suitable (diameter is identical to this one). Adapter can also be used to hold/secure the balls in a stem. The 9mm female version also allows connection of a 510 drip tip (allowing you to use the Dani (or others) drip tip with a TM stem). It offers many possibilities :science:

Initially, I had also planned to use the adapter as a bowl reducer, but I quickly stopped that because I find the bowl is too small and the additional mass too much (especially since the TM already heats up enough with these SS lining).

I am currently negotiating with my factory to obtain the best possible price. I think it will be available next month at the same time as the SUS430 IH Cap (some people are still trying it out, or haven't received it yet)

Cheers! 😋 :peace:

Genius, would be well interested in an 8-9 adapter, as you say BFG stems are really nice, but using bigger o rings to fit a tempest etc never gets a really solid feeling connection. When or where might these be available please @DgN'R?
