Discontinued Daisy vaporizer by Triihouse

I feel a purchase coming on. I love visual feedback. I'm a heavy hitter. My 62-year-old lungs have been referred to as "Hoover." I love beautiful wood puzzles. My current collection is MFLB, Lotus, DBV, Firefly, Pax. I miss my recently sold Vapman, but she wouldn't leave without it. Do I want a Daisy?

Check out Tommy's videos on youtube and Vitolo's whistle while you work.

You have a good vape stable already, but if you are a fan of wood and visual feedback the Daisy sounds like a good addition.

(I haven't got mine yet so I won't comment about particulars)

Tommy has been a treat to work with and he does offer a 14 day money back guarantee if you aren't happy with the Daisy, although reading through this thread a few times I haven't seen any complaints!

Farmer, have you tried with and without the wooden mouth piece yet?

Edit does anyone know if refreshing the tracking webpage makes the package come faster?:freak:

I haven't been this impatient in awhile!

No I haven't. The mouth piece seems to work well though, so the idea never really crossed my mind.

I managed to combust last night. It was my own fault, but you do have to be attentive because it really isn't that hard to do. The only thing I can think of that would possibly help would be a heat diffuser...maybe a stone like the ones in the Vaporgenies.

great reviews. i will have some pics to post soon of some daisy modifications.

I agree, using daisy needs discipline & self control if You are to conserve.its just too easy to take huge instant rips. You can finish a bowl in two rips.the second is pretty lifeless.
In this sense daisy extracts like the Sublimator.i enjoy Daisys medical effects and use her mostly with the vapman to top up my needs throughout the day.

I had issues with charring in my bowl last week. The screen seemed fine from above.blowing through the carb hole i noticed quite a bit of restriction though.it turns out, that below the screen was choc full of resin.I removed the screen with a dab tool and emptied out quite a pile of dry dust.It would be nice to have access in the base to push the screen out from underneath with a dowel.my screens get creased removing them.
anyway, once i cleaned her out i was back to two no char rips, first one is massive flash rip.smaller second rip ,tan abv and no matter how hard i try.the actives just seem spent after two rips.

I have been trying different torches and adjusting my flame down, still getting those flash rips Ive been looking for.

Where is everyone keeping there screens? On the closer wide ledge, or the deeper narrower ledge? I have my screen lower, and if my torch is medium length, I find its hard to combust. The one time I placed it higher it was charring easily..

As well as placing the screen lower, see how far you can get the flame AWAY from the hole and still get a thick hit.....Its not about forcing the flame anywhere, the secret is the air turbulence. Experiment with different flame distances AND draw speeds....It took a bit of experimenting for me, but thats the only way to become a Daisy Grandmaster:myday:
I will try and get a vid together soon to showcase my Daisy skills:ninja:

RUDE BOY

Space is the Place
Just finished my last session of the day with the Daisy on the back porch where it's crazy quiet out tonight.

I actually could hear the whistle tonight which seems to elude my ears although others with me say it does whistle, most of the time i can't hear it. Also found that raising the flame a little higher above the intake stem then normal really allows the Dogs in the surrounding neighborhood to hear it too ...

 :lol::lol: :lol:<< yippie little dogs not LoLs >>:lol:

Enjoyed yours too. I read thru the entire discussion again for forgotten nuggets of knowledge. I've been following this topic since it started and am glad that I finally pulled the trigger. Thanks to all that boldly reinforced my decision. Money well spent.

Yeah, I didn't push my screen all the way down and got a mouth full of chaff because of it. Don't worry, it'll work fine with it housed way down where it belongs.

Not to be a big fan boy,but the daisy.... IS AWESOME! Here is my short review... The mouthpiece is unique.
Not stealthy at all but the POWER the FLAVOR.... Oh and when you master her.... Wow just wow. For the price I am glad to see it in the market of sub 150... Good value. The look of it is nice clean lines. If you are looking for a new, simple, and truly portable vape this is it! Shipping is fast. 14 day money back guarantee.

Maybe mot a 10/ 10...but easily my favorite vaporizer.

I find that a slow steady whistle works best for me.

If your Daisy doesn't whistle, check your screen. Mine wasn't whistling while I worked and it seemed noticably harder to draw thru. Checked the screen which was so packed that I couldn't see a background light source. Popped a new one in and life is back to the way it should be.

Turns out the only negative and minor thing that that I really can think of is that I'm not so enamoured with the kit lighter. Mostly it's an issue of ergonomics. The button type striker/ actuator just doesn't do it for me using either my thumb or trigger finger. The torch and jet-flame size itself is the perfect size for the Daisy, but I prefer my Jobson as it's just more comfortable in the hand. To be honest (pun), I've yet to find the perfect/ most reliable torch. I'd gladly pay a premium for reliability.

If the Triihouse people are reading, I'm having some trouble ordering screens and some backup stems from the website...is it just my std infested laptop acting up, or is there some other means?

Also while I'm dreaming, I'd also like to see and happily pay for a stainless steel stem/ turkey neck option (or hammered copper for that steampunk effect) Glass is way classy, but it'd be nice to have a more durable version for the apocalypse or just when I'm walking around drooling and more inclined to bump into or drop things.

you might want to take a look at the vapman torch. a fellow fc member is selling screens and torches for the vapman along with charred and engraved units on ebay. i'm using a vapman torch myself, although only with the vapman and vaponic, and so far it turned out pretty robust and reliable.

I've heard many good things about the VM torch...would love to give it a try but ordering it alone from Switzerland seems impracticle (though that Yew VM is looking mighty sweet:drool:)

Daisy say hello to Burny

He's from Switzerland and will be staying with us for a while.

Haven't really had a chance to give my thoughts on the Daisy. It's been the only vape I've used since I got it 10 days ago.

WOW This thing does not disappoint! Fast clouds that are smooth and on demand in a package that is fun to operate...The vape signature of this vape is so hard to describe besides amazing!

Love the visual aspect with the glass mouth piece...really makes it easy to see the cloud production take place.

Thank you so so much Tommy. I highly recommend the Daisy and Tommy's company

After a month of daily use I have some observations:
While inhaling, the vapor is so smooth and cool that it is very hard to stop before you make a fool of yourself.

Once the technique is achieved, the taste is awesome and the clouds are easily controlled.

Arguably the fastest hitting vaporizer on the market.

Absolutely no butane taste or smell.

ABV has that dry convection feel and color.

I'm really pleased with this Vape.

Right on.

I fully agree.

I've been stuffing nugs in to the mega-bowl and busting them up when I stir. Leave no trichome behind.

Re-running ABV thru the Vapman has benn a minor success. The VM reduces the herb to darkness a little better than the Daisy does on it's only in my opinion.

I think that comes down to Convection vs Conduction, most of my convection vapes extract everything thoroughly (some with stirring) but they never darken the abv as much as pure conduction vapes...I've pushed daisiy's abv pretty dark but by then it it's worth the taste, nothing beats those first two gulps of delicious daisy clouds.

I think I can agree with you.

But those first three hits spoil you badly, so it's really easy to dump the bowl and repeat.

I'm just not that ambitious with conserving the herb with the Daisy. It's like pigging out at the salad bar. It tastes good and gives you the illusion of being low calorie.

I consume my ABV anyway, so it's reduce, reuse, recycle. And with a limitless supply, ruducing doesn't make a lot of sense.

I'm wondering if I'm being a wuss and letting off earlier then you guys but I find the vapor so smooth from the Daisy I don't cough much from it....
