Daily vape as dangerous as daily smoke?

Its true that above 400F (204C) we begin to see benzene and the flower gets a bit more "unhealthy"

But to put things in perspective, the amount that you inhaling cannot cause any damage and it is equivalent to smelling gas a gas station or everyday walk in the street...

Take it easy, vaporizing is healthy.
I haven't been sick for more than 24 hours in the last 2.5 years...(after I started vaping)

Just look at a glass bowl or water tool that has been used for combustion. Remember the chunks of resin/nasty bong water? Now compare that to your vapor path/water. Looks like a huge difference to me!

That's how I look at it. obviously with a direct draw hit you will get more particles and wax and resin in your mouth and lungs, but I find water less irritating for that reason. This is also why you get higher when using direct draw systems.

We all know what happens to our stems and such, does anyone know what happens with all that oil/resin in our lungs?

As long as the cilia aren't paralyzed from combustion, your lungs should be plenty capable of cleaning out any resin and/or particles that make it through. The nature of the tars from combustion is such that our lungs can't easily get rid of it but for what you inhale from vaporizing this isn't the case. Your lungs are amazingly efficient at cleaning out foreign particles ... (At least that's my understanding of it from everything I've read)

Edit: Thought I'd add this as well ... now that I'm not typing on my phone ...

This is also the explanation why smokers have massive coughing fits when vaporizing and why people recently switching from combustion also have coughing fits; since the cilia are paralyzed from combustion, you are unable to adequately filter the particulates, so when vaping and inhaling the vapor deeply, you cough like crazy because the particulate matter in the vapor isn't properly filtered in your lungs and causes you to try to cough to expel the foreign matter; once you haven't been combusting for a while and your cilia start functioning properly again, the urge to cough goes away as the regular filtering of the cilia is enough to eliminate the foreign matter.

(It is worth noting that this is all just my combined observations based on what I've read, observed, and experienced, and should not be taken for scientific fact)

There is no doubt in my mind and in my physical feeling,VAPING is 10 fold better than burning.I used to hack out quarter size tar phlegm.I notice sometimes when I do cough after a monster rip my phlegm is speckled with small dots of resin. I do a lot of cardio and as one poster said the lungs if healthy will push out most foreign particulate from them selves, before vaping, I saw after running I would expectorate large amounts of tar, today ,there is nothing, only the occasional observation I made from a giant rip held in for 30-40 seconds. I no longer feel that heavy feeling in my lungs and I noticed swimming under water (free diving again) I have more tidal volume in them,I'm glad I made the change, got real sick for a while, had to revamp a lot of old habits into healthier lifestyle and vaping was one of the biggest changes I made and I can tell you it made a big difference in overall healthier feeling vs combusting....whats the name of this forum....yeah thats right!!
