No that's a EFS gridded donut. It just had it's joint broken and replaced so it doesn't look exactly like he original.did you by chance get that rig off DH Gate? Before the glass adapter what size was it originally? Thx bro
I just got the Flavor Kit myself. Wee!
So I installed it and the nail was sitting pretty far forward. About half a centimeter from the front of the glass globe... decided not to use it since the heat might break the glass.
Called 7th floor support and they told me to actually push down on the element a bit and that should center it. Lo and behold it worked, so if anyone else is having that issue, try pushing down and back a little on the element.
Ugh. I just cleaned my setup and tried to put it back together... running into the same problem. This time pushing it down doesn't seem to center it Me sad.
Mine won't center perfectly either. When I first put it together I noticed it and contacted 7th floor immediately. Unfortunately Chris (I think was his name) was no longer taking care of the email/cs side of things down there at the time and I was instead talking with some chick who didn't seem to even have common knowledge of their products. After many emails back and forth her only advice she could give me was to bend the heater cover retainer (new style) to apply less pressure on the heater cover. I tried this and all that happened was I had a floppy heater cover. I bent the retainer back how it is supposed to be and pulled out a single old style heater cover clip and used it as it was intended and it straightened the heater cover out a bit for me.
I've come to the conclusion that the issue in my case was too large of an inner diameter of the heater cover base. If you are using a new style dbv and have the old style heater cover clips try it out.
I use the DBV stir tool... and after set up to vape, I go around the nail with the tool to be sure it is not making contact.
Yes the element does sit low.
VB2 is more powerful and user friendly than a d-nail, and cost is a bit lowere... as well as it being more versatile.
That being said.... the d-nail flaw is it heats your actual glass piece by sitting there.
The DBV nail kit is removed from filtration source, and can be used if you do not like using water!(like me.)
You can use it for herb , due to screen, yes..... but I use it for a different purpose.
Since, as the video points out, oil gathers at any restriction, some oil from the vapor adheres to screen.
This makes an easy helper to get the build-up into that reservoir with some heat assistance. It also allows for a hit later on , using just direct DBV or SSV heat... the screen releases a couple nice hits.
I have used the rig both ways, and I prefer it with screen in.
With the screen out, the reservoir is harder to use because that makes the first restrictions farther back.
It makes for a smoother hit, (I do not enjoy water filtration) and it does not hamper the level of medication.
You are welcome to disagree.............it does not hamper the level of medication.
