I didn't see that coil in the background of that video until I watched it a few times
It's not my favorite implementation but if it gets the job done...I had envisioned a mini-UTH. Not complaining just not what I had in mind.
I will say when I was using my pukinbeagle kit I put it on par with my EVO. The EVO has some drawbacks (but benefits, as well) that this resolved for me. I think this is a more natural way to use one's own pieces, for example, which I almost never did with the EVO in favor of the hydrotubes. Not to mention the EVO still has a SS mesh screen whereas this one can be all glass (or quartz) and concentrates are easier (to me) compared to the test tubes in the EVO. Using the EVO upside down on my own glass was always a catastrophe waiting to happen for me. And the balls just look cool as hell! I've got a rainbow of quartz, ceramic, rubies, and Zirconia of all different sizes
