NYCD - How well does the Rockzap stay on top of that? I have a MZ and this setup is really tempting. Do you think the Headford can take the weight very well? It looks like a solid piece of glass but I don't know if it's worth risking a $175 bubb by strapping a 1lb vape on top of it.
Otherwise I guess it wouldn't be so bad to get some flexible 1/2" ID tubing and run a line from the MZ to the Headford... tempting.
Nycdeisel said:This has a well made joint, the Rockzap doesnt stress it much because im always supporting the zap with one hand. The inline bubbler CAN NOT hold the zap on its own, it will tip over and probably end up with a watery zap which would be very sad. thats why im holding it. but being a smaller piece its not difficult. in fact its one of the easiest to pick up and hit with the zap.
My advice on tubing is to stay away from it, it takes away flavor, makes it a more cumbersome setup as well as adding a big part to clean. I would not recommend any tubing for this setup but i know some others use tubing i would not diss them i justdo not like it
and i have much more expensive glass that i would put the zap on AND let it rest on it IF its sturdy(like the BC bubbler is very stable even with the zap sitting on top, so i dont worry).
Nycdeisel said:Headford hands down. for sure better with the zap then any thing else
those trees and ashcatchers/bubblers look like china glass. i would stay away there is a reason those are so cheap, and the headford is actually a good value for that price IMHO
Nycdeisel said:They are very different pieces so i cant say one is overall better. a small straight tube would work but from my experience this little inline works wonders with the zap
I use the CRZ with the 12in rx industries daily, love it.Auralis said:Nycdeisel said:They are very different pieces so i cant say one is overall better. a small straight tube would work but from my experience this little inline works wonders with the zap
Thanks for the help bud. I think I'm going to go for the Headford. Gonna use that Bingo money.

Congrats Hound, nice nano! Was that stock diffy? Have ongoing dialogue with Circle about diffys and if it's his I'm pleased.Canna Hound said:Alright, here is my Mobius Nano w/Matrix perc... Thank you Pappy and Tstat for the pictures and talk of the Mobius line and especially the Nano. I think this is my favorite piece. I wish I could afford to have a Nano with all three perc styles.
I almost had the Ion Bubbler; but after paying for it during the ALT sale, they called and informed me they actually had zero inventory and would have to give me a refund. So now I am on the hunt for Mobius bubblers...

alright... I think I got at least one or two pictures of most of my pieces with the exception of my Omnicron, and a couple small no name ash catchers, plus my Scientific Inhalation Cotton filter I received the other day...
If anyone ever wants my very uneducated neophyte reviews of these pieces, just shoot me a private email; I am more than happy to share my experiences good and bad. I just don't want to nit pick certain pieces on a public forum, overall I am satisfied to blown away by the quality of even my cheapest glass.
Hopefully by tonight I have some pictures of my new Oracle, scheduled to arrive today. Also expecting new Silver Surfer Heater cover and spherical wand today sometime. I think tonight is going to be a fun night testing new toys; I'll try to get pics.
later
