We had already decided on horizontal bc vertical defeated the purpose of the guard.

What is straight fab?

I think a wide style would be good, thick too, D020 style works for me

Vertical could work if they were short in terms of length. But i am A-ok with horizontal.


Straight Fab is a particular piece produced by Mothership Glass

And yes i agree with wide and thick. I am just not a big fan of small sipper style

I just had an idea that if done right would be on my shelf.

Based on a fake Mobius Ion, but with a removable perc like the FC-MOD. For maximum customization, instead of a mouthpiece, just an 18mm male joint, again like the FC-MOD. Ok. Basically an FC-MOD that is based on the fake Ion. The beauty would be to make a bunch of different percs, so that you can use a turbine if you like for flavor, then swap it for more diffusion.

As far as mouthpieces were concerned, I'm not all too picky. I'd like more of a bong style than a kiss style if that makes sense, but the standard seems to be the latter and I'd make do with whatever!

If you live were there is snow grow hydroponically.

If you live with sunshine and good soil grow outdoors if you can!

Clean the leaves off the bottom of the stem.
U-Tube videos can help?
Don't over water and dry the root ball between watering!
Your nutrients are different at each stage.

Some people like a gaping mouth piece however I don't?

I was actually wondering what kind of piece milks the best. I was thinking about starting a thread on this topic and get the community input on said subject.
I personally like medium size mouth pieces not so big like some water pipes but not so small I like almost have to pucker.

This is TOTALLY subjective and are far too many variables [and opinions] to get any real, usable or accurate data.

Many have started the same conversation before... there will never be the same answer for everyone, it only shows what you like and prefer the most.

Thanks for nipping that one in the bud early. I have two things that may contribute to that aim. But to reiterate. It is a subjective thing I associate with palette.
I was just getting warmed up to the subject matter in the EQ thread.

There is something about having a long glass heated pathway that causes the vapor to stack instead of say dragging along the pathway. I posted my tall glass setup before. It's about 9 inches tall when both lengths of glass are adapted together. When I have them apart and use them separately, the vapor pours and is a little thinner/thicker as I continue to draw. The taller wand setup seems to have the heavier vapor hang in the glass a little longer and feels a lot more consistent. Giving it that thick flavor from dragging the vapor more continuously over your palette. My Summit might be on the other end of the spectrum. I don't taste anything until I exhale. Any thoughts?

So I'm looking into getting a claisen adapter to build on that premise. And keep the vapor as consistent as possible, to say my water piece. Keeping other factors in mind like the width of the pathway, any sort of pinching (why a claisen adapter looks like a candidate over tubing), and other telescoping/expansion/bottlenecks considerations.

Has anyone found any smaller, say 50-55ish stereo matrix copies? If not, who would be the best vendor to approach? Maybe one who makes other good pieces with smaller diameter matrix percs?

The mouthpiece on the GB-187 is a deal breaker for me, and I haven't seen anything else but the FC-186 and 200. I think smaller versions of the latter two would be nice.

Supposedly Steven was going to produce it but i guess changes were made into the one he sells now. To me the link i posted perculator looks like it would fire better. The mouthpiece is little large but i would definitely deal with that for a better functioning piece

Oooooh I think it was just their first prototype? But then people were shipped something clearly different? Or at least varying quality

i think you are correct calling it the prototype. The final version for sale currently looks to have a shorter perc, can, and mouthpiece

I also sent them this drawing and various perc suggestions, and she said she would get back to me if they needed more details.

@Slow Draw McGraw brought up a good point, no foot/stand is included, and I honestly just forgot to suggest they make something. I will try to get them to add that in to the next hydrotube.
