@Ratchett That's funny you should say that because I sent a message to CCG last night asking if he would consider making a batch of these recyclers with 18mm female fittings.
My thoughts were that it would be a good piece to use with a vape since:
1) The joint is straight with enough clearance for a Cloud or LSV(other vapes are available).
2) It is a decent size (24cm to top of mouthpiece) to be stable while attached to a vape but the actual recycling volume isn't too large because of the chamber at the bottom which should keep drag to a minimum.
3) I'm hoping this will make it suitable for log vapes as well since you won't need to be drawing at a fast rate.
4) The dry chamber would also keep any vapes attached safe from any possible water due to back pressure after the hit.
5) It seems to have a neat little vortex (check video at 1:05)
6) It's priced at a rather attractive $40.
I also thought by simply getting him to change the joint without redesigning the piece it would stay at that same low price and ready sooner.
Although I was considering asking if he could maybe flare the mouthpiece a bit more and make the base slightly larger so it came flush to the intake pipe. This would mean the centre of mass of the vape would be over the base thus avoiding any possible tipping issues. It does look pretty stable already so I'm thinking neither of these would be a game changer.
Maybe if we got him to drop the accessories then he could make these improvements while keeping cost at that same $40 mark.
I'd love to hear people's thoughts on this as you guys really seem to know your stuff. Please say if you'd be interested as I feel the only way to persuade the sellers to make these recyclers with female fittings is by showing there are potential customers who want them.
