What Cover Tune do you all prefer over the Original?

For some time I have been mulling this.
here is my pick for today,
Ryan Adams Wonderwall cover from the UK greats Oasis
1995 original single.

My favorite is Disturbed's "Sounds of Silence".

But, the Christian Band Mercy Me has many good covers they do for fun. Look up "Cover tune grab bag". (http://mercyme.org/tag/cover-tune-grab-bag/ lists some. ) A good one is

A possibly controversial choice: Michael Hutchence's version of The Passenger(by Iggy Pop). Very different from the original for sure.

I enjoy Mayssa Karaa’s version of Comfortably Numb

I have been obsessed with Sturgill Simpson’s cover of “in bloom”.

Maybe it’s just because of my age (later half of 30’s) but I think this is a really elegant twist on one of the songs that captured teenage angst and it echoes with my adult-self.

Crazy video too. With this cinematography and Sturgill Simpleon’s voice you’d swear Randy Travis was tripping balls.
