I am guessing someone has posted this at some point. But oh so many callow youths I have spoken to since Bowie's death had no idea who Mark Bolan was that I feel like I gotta drop some T Rex wherever I can. The worst of them was a comment on the NY Times reposting their first Bowie review from back in the day. In the same piece they reviewed T Rex and said Bolan and Bowie would both be superstars. Young fucker comments "Nobody ever heard of Bolan but they were right on Bowie".

I almost became violent. Us older folks can remember when Bolan was selling 60,000 records A DAY.
