I don't know if anyone watches the G4 network, but I have found that even though it is ostensibly for "gaming" they show a lot of interesting stuff.
Case in point: The movie "Super High Me" which is a kind of spoof of "Super Size Me" but with cannabis. It is based on a joke by a stand-up comedian and was broadcast on 4-20, but I DVRed it and watched it last night.
An outspoken heavy pot-smoking comedian, Doug Benson goes without pot for 30 days, then spends 30 days completely stoned all day, every day. All of this is done with several doctors involved, testing his physical condition and emotional/mental state before, during and after.
The results are interesting and extremely funny. He gets his card and goes to various dispensaries in Los Ganjales and Oaksterdam so he can partake legally. He also visits Minnesota. Vaporizing is featured prominently, with his first post-abstinence high using a volcano (first time and he loved it). He also combusts A LOT.
One of the real highlights for me: He is vaping with a whip-style box vape in a dressing room with Sarah Silverman and some other comedians while Dave Navarro sits there and plays guitar. In a word, awesome.
A few other comedians weigh in on the project along the way.
A lot of good info on medical MJ is delivered, including the paradox of feds busting legal dispensaries (because they can) and taking not just the herb and equipment, but the patient records. THAT is scary there!
Definitely worth renting on DVD since the on-air version is censored (language.)
Highly recommend this. Not a classic, but very definitely entertaining, especially high.
