I can't answer yet about the PEEK vs ceramic comparison. I've only a tested a PEEK version of v2 so far as I had to design validate the changes first before having the molds for the ceramic pieces made. This is what we are currently waiting on to finish.

What I did mention about the ceramic that I've tested is the new ceramic stem on the existing v1.

As for the coil efficiency, it's both from a combination of the low-mass high surface area heater and funneling all the heat that the coils release into the material in the bowl via a specifically designed air intake path. Most handheld vapes compensate their inefficient heat transfer with larger coils resulting in a higher energy needed to vaporize the same amount of material..

This makes sense. With such small devices and the heater usually very physically close to the bowl, I didn't expect inefficient heat transfer from coil to bowl to make such a difference given the airpath is so short.

I'm guessing if you're trying to gain efficiency it does matter but if you just want to get a bowl air fried you can get away with it with just raw power.

Will there be the ability to get the peek in v2 at some point? (Its probably cheaper and easier?)


If in the end it doesn't effect flavor too much, and depending how strong zirconia is, i might probably definitely prefer peek for the strength and long term reliability of it without needing to worry about dropping/breaks,
honestly id take a peek stem too, i live remote and like solid things,
Hope at least spare stems will be available, or maybe ill look for something metal or wood.

And definitely hope spare zirconia part of the bowls will be available, especially as the bowls detachable to fill, and at the bottom of the device.

PEEK is actually more expensive due to the high cost of the material itself combined with process of CNC machining. Injection molds for plastics are very costly to get made as well.

Ceramic molds are actually cheaper and the per piece cost of the parts are lower as well. A lot of feedback from v1 was the "plastic" vapor path and there was preference for a zero plastic airpath.

Depending on the demand, PEEK variations or any other materials can definitely be possible as an upgrade part.

Will the V2 feature a Stainless Steel tube that connects the Ceramic Mouthpiece tube to the Ceramic chamber assembly, like the V1? Or Is this piece now built into the ceramic upper or lower portion? It looked like it was built in the mock-up. If it’s built in, I can see this as a potential breakage point. I know Zirconia is a very durable material but having this piece break would render the device inoperable

Also, is the Mouthpiece tube white like the mock-up or black?

Yes, that metal piece is still there. It is just attached in a different way to the main body now but still detachable for easy cleaning.

It will also be changed to Aluminum 7075 for better heat transfer as it is actually a heat exchanger between the outgoing vapor and the incoming air going to the coils.

All ceramic pieces that are visible on the exterior including the mouthpiece stem will be offered in black and white color.
