Has anyone seen these videos on you tube? They are videos which show that the sandy hook massacre was a hoax..I couldnt believe it until I saw it either. The whole thing staged, why?
Gun control. It really boggles the mind. Big brother is always watching. These are scary times, where you can be prosecuted for what you write online And the truths you choose to believe.Well I believe in connecting the dots. There have been many publicized shootings from the temple in wisconsin. To the shooting in colorado and now this..Its all a smoke screen. The lies have taken a life of their own and now is preying on our sensibilities. All for the sake of moving an agenda.

So ban the assault rifles. Now where are they going to go? Well the Us government will sell them and not to our allies. It boggles the mind...

I cant be the only believer out there :whoa:

Wait a second. I'm a bit confused. Are you saying that you believe that the massacre of little kids at Sandy Hook was a hoax?

Id like people to form their own opinions. And watch one of the many videos related to the massacre/ hoax. Its not just one persons theory. I just stumbled upon this on the web. As far fetched as these theories may seem. I feel we should question how all information is represented to us.
I dont want to sound like a crackpot, but the government is slowly taking away our freedoms . Filming everything we do, think city cameras..When we dont see images how ever sick they may seem, to support the allegations then how can you whole heartedly believe in something? I heard an interview where the mayor of that town was asking people to stop sending aide. That to me was alarming, if there is a real need then why turn the public away.
Yes, I do believe it was a hoax. Too many round holes and square pegs..

the government is slowly taking away our freedoms .
they seemingly already did that a long time ago, but people are only just seeing enough to realise we've been living in the dark. Of course, we do still ultimately have freedom, we just have to detach ourselves from the system and concentrate on expanding our own minds and making what difference we can.
I haven't read the article because it sounds depressing, but I am well aware of the kind of lies which are spread by the media so it would not surprise me at all. There can be a big difference between conspiracy THEORY and conspiracy FACT. I'm not saying I know this shooting was a conspiracy, but people can't call something like 9/11 a conspiracy theory when there are piles of undeniable evidence that it was a set up. It's all a big distraction though, not really worth thinking about but it can be good to know how the world works if you don't let that information weight you down like many do.

If there were piles of undeniable evidence... It wouldn't exactly be denied...
Anomaly hunting does not a conspiracy make...

I found a snopes page which seems to pretty much debunk all of the stuff in the video on the op.
http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/newtown.asp

This is why I loose patience with basically every "conspiracy theory" I come across...
It's never evidence, its "this is odd", "this doesn't add up" and there's no further investigation...

I'm sure there's some creepy govt crap going on at some level, but just once, I'd like to see this stuff I dunno, actually proven before people start calling it this or that...

Eh, color me unconvinced

Funny, Ive been getting snippets of hoax info on sandy hook, and I had no
energy to look closely at the so called info.
These conspiracies do get tiresome.... We did land men on the moon.

My favorite conspiracy theory is:

"Obamacare requires all Americans to be impanted with an RFID chip by March 23, 2013." And therefore: "The RFID chip is the mark of the Beast and Obama is the Antichrist."

When pressed for actual evidence, the believer's response is usually to direct you to some youtube video by Glenn Beck, Alex Jones, etc. The other tactic is to direct you to the text of some Bill that didn't even pass into law. These conspiracy theorists NEVER have any actual evidence of their claims and refuse to accept actual evidence that conflicts with their own beliefs.

Also, why is it that the vast majority of these conspiracy theorists are far right wing conservatives? The Newtown massacre conspiracy is particularly repulsive. Because it started a serious discussion of gun regulation in this country, which the right wing does NOT like, the Newton Massacre "must have been a conspiracy to take way our guns."

Lesson: Learn to develop critical thinking skills, logic, common sense, and research skills. Don't believe everything you read on the internet, youtube, etc. without checking ORIGINAL SOURCES. Common sense is perhaps the most important. If Obamacare REALLY required all Americans to get an RFID chip by March 23, don't you think we would have heard something about how that's going to be accomplished by now, 2 months away?

Because they live in a world of black and white, they will say and believe in whatever they have to say or believe so that their preconceived ideas of how they think things "should" be, can, in their own twisted minds..........fit, and if it means making up some shit so it fits.................so be it.

So, political party choice has a direct correlation to a belief that there may be corruption within certain governing bodies of the United States? Does one have to be a right wing wack job to believe that governments as a whole are usually run by power hungry, wealthy men who care little about what the people really want?

Personally, I believe that all government is always trying to take away freedoms from the people while trying to placate them with long winded speeches and promises of safety and happiness. I believe there is nothing more a government wants than for people to stick their heads in the sand and believe that their government would never do them wrong or cause them harm. An easy way to do this is to constantly have an enemy. Throughout our history, the US has always had an enemy. British, Indian, each other, Mexican, alcohol, German, Japanese, Russian, drugs, terrorists, and up until our newest mega threat, firearms, the enemy was obesity. Where does all this strife originate? It always comes back to politics and governments. Give the people an enemy to hate, keep their heads buried in the sand, give them lots of reality TV and anti depressants to shove down their throats and they don't give a shit whether or not they have their rights and freedom.

I Just found this

(located here http://www.scribd.com/doc/120815791/Fairleigh-Dickinson-poll-on-conspiracy-theories, I haven't read the article, just looked for the relevant graph)

More Democrats (44%) thought there were 0 Conspiracies than Republicans (25%)
More Republicans (75%) thought there was 1 or more Conspiracies than Democrats (56%)

It wouldn't surprise me of the figures reversed if the conspiracies were different, but it's a correlation:shrug:

Your last sentence completely debunks everything stated prior to it.

Upon reading the questions that were asked about conspiracy theories in that article, it is easy to see the questions that were asked were obviously asked to get the results they desired for their statistical chart. It proves nothing except for the fact that firm believers in political parties believe that their party can do little to no wrong and that they distrust the other party.

If you are interested in conspiracy theories I suggest you watch the documentary Zeitgeist. I think that the nature of false flag operations is that they are designed to be difficult to discern from tragedies. Though I don't think the Sandy Hook shooting was a conspiracy, I think it is unwise to blindly trust the media without question. Just because the government did not plan an attack, doesn't mean that they cannot still manipulate the fear that comes from the attack.

In retrospect, many of the conspiracy theories of the past have been exposed as false flag ops (the sinking of the Lucitania sparked WWI, Pearl Harbor sparked WWII, the Gulf of Tonkin incident sparked Vietnam, 911 sparked the war on terror). The Lucitania and Gulf of Tonkin are now fully accepted to have been inside jobs. I think 911 will follow. Pearl Harbor is the only one that I believe will remain contested, as the media at the time was the more controlled than it has ever been. Since we won the war, and since we have a holiday dedicated to it, I don't think the American people will ever really accept that it was an inside job.

The only incident you mentioned that has been exposed and accepted as a false flag operation is the Gulf of Tonkin. The sinking of the Lusitania has NOT "been fully accepted to have been an inside job." Pearl Harbor and 9/11 have not even come close to being proven false flags.

In order for people to believe your claims, you must have actual proof. Anyone can make assertions. A year before the London Olympics, the conspiracy theorists were "positive" that the Olympics would be "hit by a nuclear bomb", "invaded by aliens", etc. When asked for proof, they were never able to offer any, but insisted they were correct. When nothing happened, they justified their error by saying that "We stopped them by making the public aware." This is how conspiracy theorists operate.

I like conspiracy theory's, they are most of the time fun just like a good book or movie.

Perception is something the brain tricks us to believing as truth when in reality it is far from the truth. If you stage a fake crime with 20 witnesses and video the entire event, seperate all witnesses and ask what they saw, you get 20 different accounts of what each person saw and claims to be what actually happened, ask the same people 24hrs later what they saw and their account will be different then the day before to varying degrees. Show them all the video tape and watch their faces when they realize that is not how they remembered it.

Fact, and truth are very difficult to prove outside of mathematics, most of the time they are just opinions filtered by individuals perception.

I classify people in three different ways, Sheep, wolves, and sheep dogs. Sheep and wolves promote conspiracy theories while the sheep dog has no time for this since it has no bearing over the fact the it's job is to protect the sheep from the wolves.

What bugs me that this thread was even started is that 20 children where fucking killed, I really don't give a rats ass about the why, to dishonor their memory with bullshit like this is a shame. Hey just my perception.

Yup. It seems that the larger the catastrophe is, the more conspiracy theorists come out of the woodwork to spin their tails of fiction.

You're grouping all people who question things together and applying generalities. You assume all conspiracy theorists operate the same way? That sounds like a much bigger conspiracy than any of the false flag ops I mentioned.

As for the Olympics thing, I'm not saying we use conspiracy theories to try and predict the future, as you say the conspiracy theorists in this case did. I'm saying that history should be analyzed objectively, and events that have already occurred can be learned from retrospectively.

And there is ample evidence the sinking of the Lusitania was a false flag op. Especially if you consider the fact that the German government posted notices in American newspapers warning that the ship would be sunk if it entered German waters. That's even how I was taught it in school, in my textbook, with an ultra conservative, ultra nationalistic teacher.

As for the business of this being a taboo subject considering so many kids died, I have to disagree. I don't think it was any kind of setup. I think some sicko killed a lot of kids, and he's rotting in hell for it. That being said, a tragedy like this can still be manipulated to prompt fear. In my old highschool, for instance, drug sniffing dogs from the State police came in to classrooms last year, and lots of good kids got into trouble for having a little pot in their bag. The justification given for the random search was that it was an increased security measure to try and catch kids who had guns in school. My town is very suburban, and there is very little threat of gun violence. We even have an armed police officer just in case. With all the fear in our society, I think it's wise that we confront the issues rather than hiding from them.
