After a good journey with mostly concentrates, I've recently switched back to flowers only.
I'm noticing a couple of effects that I'm unsure of. Maybe someone can explain...
I do enjoy the strong quick effect of dabbing. In terms of efficiency it works well. But because the quality of oils here varies much more than flowers, I've unplugged the e-nail and gone back to the nano. What is odd is that almost immediately, I was feeling the effects much stronger with flowers, like the effect was lasting much longer. This is the opposite of what I'd expect.
I figured it was just an effect of switching up methods, but after a couple of weeks it's still the same: flowers are plain getting me higher. Also, I noticed the effects with flower feel "fuller" (not sure how else to describe it). It's like taking away the sledgehammer of dabbing allows more subtle effects to surface.
This leads to the question: could there be something in the process of making concentrates, that somehow leaves behind compounds that are preserved in flowers? Does the THC in oils just overpower everything else. Or am I just getting really really strong flowers?
