i just bought a barely used vapbong for 300 US. If i dont Like it, im glad to pass it on for just the same.
Maybe go down a bit in Voltage, I find it's quite gentle vapor.you guys experienced the vapor from the schlong as harsh in the throat?
That won't be a problem for sure and you probably keep it.i just bought a barely used vapbong for 300 US. If i dont Like it, im glad to pass it on for just the same.
Are you changing the packing to Canada to make things more uniform?Daniel deals with all of this. He always keeps us up to date. We have often been close to tears and just kept fighting. We believe in our product and in healing and pain relief. You will all get your vapos. We also have to change our packaging to USA and Canada from now on. I don't want to name any other changes here right now. We already have a solution for everything and are in the process of implementing it. Then no bank should have a problem with us anymore. So you don't need to worry. We will manage it and want to see all your beautiful photos when you have your Vapos.
Hope it all works out, sorry to hear of all the troubles. I am super excited for April, can't wait for my preorders haha! Sucks what's going on around the industry, hope it all pans out in the long run.Daniel deals with all of this. He always keeps us up to date. We have often been close to tears and just kept fighting. Sorry about your situation with the used device. That can be super frustrating and I can already feel your pain.second hand unboxing can be quite unpleasant: apparently my used vapbong was home to a heavy smoker. even the box smelled hardcore like an old ashtray. so i had to scrub the whole thing, he combusted in there too apparently, because the bowl and the chillum was full of black particles.
no im heatsoaking it for the first time after cleaning with iso and hot water. after 10 minutes a 10.5 volt pull lead to no vapor at all, just some terps.
ill give it another ten.
i already almost let the bowl fall once while cleaning and putting it aside. its very fragile i fear.
Hmm if you have it properly heat soaked at 12.4V and not getting clouds, somethings prly going on. My AVB would be black at 12.4V, if not combusted. It's been mentioned here before, but ambient temp plays a role (I've had to reduce the voltage since deep winter, from about 11.8V to 11V) and proper 'nut sealing' is crucial (sometimes it can be a hair off if you're not careful, not making a good seal. Make sure you don't see any of the unglazed part of the oven nut when it's on the VB). Obviously, herb quality/quantity are going to matter also but you should be able to get clouds at that temp even with a small load.thats sweet of you man. but im sure itll grow on me.
after 20 minutes more, still the vapor is very wispy, very little visible vapor and vaporpressurefeeling on the lungs, the abv light brown/green. can draw as much as i have air.
that was 12.4 volts. am i doing something wrong?

Proper nut sealing seems like it could be the issue in this case - def try to play around with that. If all else fails, could be a power supply issue?
Indeed. My first VB power supply was faulty (it would just shut off randomly). You can also find the same exact model on Amazon for cheaper and prly quicker shipping. The power supply might not be the issue in this case though! The power supply is pretty cheap to replace. Only $19.99 on the Art of Vapor site.

Sucks to hear about the experience. If it's the power supply it's a quick / easy way to confirm it by ordering a replacement and testing it (can return to amazon if not). If it's the actual Kanthal / heater, you would need to send it back to AOV I believe for a repair.thats sweet of you man. but im sure itll grow on me.

I dont think there's really any part of the VB that can be 'replaced easily by the end user' (at least not the average user). The only part other than the ceramic is the kanthal wire.Anyone post pics of how to break this device down or maybe how to fix things if something goes wrong. It seems like a simple device and it would be nice to see some pics. Like removing and replacing parts that can be replaced easily by end users.
Yep. Have there been any cases reported of repairs needing to be done (other than power supply or broken ceramic)? I wonder if the heater has actually failed for anyone?Sucks to hear about the experience. i took a picture. but i dont know how to post it.
well, the heating part is getting very hot, so its probably not an adapter problem.
my heating pipe doesnt seem to be properly centered though. i took a picture. but i dont know how to post it.

thanks Guys, that really helped. OK, so th heater position/disposition is normal. the Bowl itself, how hot should it get? what other vapor reducing factors could it be?
