Price will be $40 for a regular and $60 for the drop down version the drop down version is 3.75 inches from top to bottom. These will come with a glass plug stopper.
these beauties will be $25. They are 3 inches long and the last 5 mm is 8.5mm so it can accept and 510 drip tip mouthpiece you have or can find. You guys know how I love to be able to offer variety and modular pieces

These will be $240 for the version with bowl downstem, cooling downstem, mouthpiece and base ring all in color. I’m still trying to figure out how to do an order of these. I have came to an agreement to where I can start preorder now to decrease downtime on Protégé. Preorder will open at $125 plus shipping when I can send out, in just a little over a month, preorder will only be open for about 2 weeks.

I believe @iDRINKBLEACH hasn't yet tested it himself.
It's a very pricey piece, so it would be great to know more about the Protégé before the end of the pre-order period.

He is expecting the two samples to arrive soon, before the pre-order period has ended, to confirm final design specs
No, although prototypes could get passed around within the community... I'm not sure anyone else will get a chance to try it before the pre-order period has ended, because of extra shipping time etc. feels like there would not be enough time... You see by the time I got Prophet myself to test for you, the pre-orders had already been closed and closer to shipping at that point...
I trust IDB's own judgment on the piece if it's ready to go and what will need to be changed, with videos and detailed reports
You are correct that this is my most expensive piece yet, with a lot more work into it than all previous pieces that you can see easily compared to previous. I will be showing it off tonight or tomorrow AM with vapor function. I requested two samples. I just got my order to restock Prophet @FlokiFarm will have them on hand, you can either reach him here on IG, same handle, or reach out to me and I will get it all setup
It’s pretty late here. I’ll definitely be playing around tomorrow more. I feel like I could add a bit more water for sure. I’m really liking it so far. I’m going to toss some other vapes on there tomorrow and play around with it some more. I have an enail head I’ll put on there tomorrow so I can test it with a vape similar function that most people have now days also.

How well does it function when it's not standing perfectly upright? (like if you hold it in one hand while reclining a bit on the couch)

That would depend on the water level, you want enough water to cover the top of the perc regardless of the angle, otherwise it won't fire properly fully... All pieces like this are designed to be hit level, not tilted, so that will always change the experience imo

How does the percolation/diffusion of the Protégé compare to that of something like the matrix sidecar?
Which would give the coolest / most humid vapor to minimize throat / lung irritation? (flavor is less important to me)

You're going to get better cooling here, forced through the inline frit fountain, with all the extra spikes, on top of the Swiss holes, and using your own mouthpiece or the included one... Matrix sidecar is super basic, it has wide open flow with way too much diffusion, and wide flared mouthpiece, they are only ever better for smoking I think?
I would have to say Protégé hands down. As shit snacks said Matrix sidecar or something like the megaglobe is a wide open draw with a lot of diffusion.This has less diffusion but it’s tighter bubble pattern makes up with cooling vs the matrix big bubbles and heavy diffusion. This also has spiked glass with Swiss holes that add for extra cooling that makes a big difference while not killing flavor.
Protégé isn’t a wide open airflow but it’s comfortable and there’s no need to exert extra oomph to use with vapes, it really hit the nail on the head with its function. I forgot to post this here, sorry about that. This is an enail head with 2mm balls.

Took over a month to get even an update on shipping but now my Prophet is finally at customs here in Netherlands 
Should hopefully be here before the end of next week. I am thinking hash in the anvil wpa kit for a first ride. Or Herbo which I don't use dry? I know TM2 will rock. Mmmm

TM2 in the Prophet seems like a dream combo to be honest. I would try that last personally.Took over a month to get even an update on shipping but now my Prophet is finally at customs here in Netherlands
I’m extending preorder until Monday night. Today is a holiday and there are some people who were not able to get their funds available due to this
I went with the TM first on the Prophet and it was fantastic. Although now I hit it most nights with the Altas or the CL. Truly great for those.
I do feel like I am neglecting my j-hooks, but it is just too perfect.
