Ok, so I used the search function and didnt find anything specific or related. I did however googled how to clean glass and dry them and found a bunch of websites, but I rather trust the information and opinions of the FC community.
How safe is it to clean your glass piece with iso alcohol? In my mind iso alcohol and a water tool you use for inhaling dont mix. Ive tried cleaning my bubbler with alcohol a few times and found that it left a weird taste in it. I did rinse it out with water many times, still to no avail. These days I use anti bacterial soap detergent. I find that it does the job, as I dont vaporize often. But I often wonder if its rid of all the harmful stuff that may form inside and one has the possibility to inhale.
I also dont trust those commercial cleaning products as one does not know what is exactly in those product.
Also, what do you use to safely clean silicone whips and non glass parts? I read that alcohol can wear the silicone out.
lastly, What do you use to dry a bubbler that has no way of being taken apart?
I read at one point to use a blow dryer. I used it on my older bubbler and it was great until I noticed that it developed some stuff between the glass and made it look ugly
My concern for this is because of possible mold or bacteria build up, I hardly vaporize and when I do, I empty the water out and put it away in its box, I cant just let it air out as I live with others that just dont understand. Sometimes I might go two weeks without vaporizing and when I pull it out the box it still has water on the inside walls. Thanks everyone.
