I need some hands on advice from the GAS community. What are the difference between the d020-d and the fc-187 v2? When I look at the percolator, it seems like the fc-187 has two horizontal layers of glass compared to the d020-d.
I already have the d020-d, but Im looking for more diffusion without drag. I will get the gb-194-1, but I need a logical reasonning to buy fc-187 v2Any input will be appreciated

Thanks for the update! I think I bought something like 20 pieces off of DHGate and the FC-710 is still my most used piece of them all so I'm looking forward to owning it in a different style.

Glassartist really is putting efforts into his stuff, it looks so nice but the price is incredible. I guess because of its size...

Many will disagree with my assessment however I like the FC UFO due to the fact I can use my favorite mouthpiece the BENDER from W9 Tech.

Well, that's kinda not fair because the FC-187 v.2 is a much better piece. My v.1 is pretty sucky with a bad perc that is WAY high in the can. I had shelved it before getting the Zion as nothing I had had enough airflow to get a decent hit with it. The Zion does so I can use it, but only with the Zion.To be fair, I had the FC-187v1, however in my opinion, Yingmin5's quality on the GB-187 (and GB-187-S) seems to be better than the FC-187.
I like my GB-187-S more than my FC-187v1 simply because it's a much better build quality - welds look good, everything straight, and the perc fires equally around the entire circumference. Unlike my FC-187 which seemed to favor only several slits out of the entire perc.
The FC-187v2 is thicker glass, but aside from that, the GB-187-S performs better and looks better.

(Personally, StevenLMZ79 low quality was the final straw. I'm really done with most Chinese glass - fun to play with and experiment, but time to move on to real quality glass made by artists, not factories).
