I had the knock off grav labs icee cup. My friend literally always held it by the straw and has had it for about 5 months no problems so as long as the construction is solid on the weld you should be fine and even if the weld isnt 100 % just dont hold it by it or knock it hard. Has anyone seen any glass that looks similar to Mighty Chalice on DHgate?

Actually broke first one and bought a second one, but ended up selling it later.
I've currently got the FC-186, 187 and 707 but they just don't seem to be keeping up with my 1 huge hit style. (sorry went back to combusting..Mighty and Sub just collecting dust)
The 707 is just too big.. way too much smoke getting stale in the top dry section, even though the whole hit takes a few seconds, I feel like it's just too much volume.
The 187 is a bubbler so you just can't take one massive hit with it.. not with good results anyhow.
The 186 has been the best for 1 massive hit so far.. I think it's because of the double perc and smaller volume.. but I really want something similar to the old Mighty Chalice I had... just could not beat that smoothness, no drag, small inner glass pathway - but I really don't want to drop around 300-400 for another one and was wondering if anyone has seen anything similar on dhgate.

Anyone picked up the FC-201 Mobius Clear Matrix knock off from Steven?
I really miss my Clear Matrix, and was considering picking this up since I can't afford a $300 piece of glass right now.
I see it has half as many slits as the legit Mobius, but still curious what the performance would be like.
How dragless are the DHGate Matrix perc knockoffs?

I looked and didn't see a Clear Matrix knockoff, did I over look it? I saw he had an Ion (or something similar) knockoff, the GB-187 and variations.
I'm just jonesing for my Clear again and was hoping to find something in that same form factor. I like the larger size.

I'm pretty sure Steven's clear knockoff isn't the same size as a real clear but is just like his other matrix perc pieces but with a bubble bottom.

Are Yingmin's matrix percs noticeably better then Steven's? Might snag a GB-187 if that's the case.

I've only had a gb187 so I can't compare the two. Others on here can though. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend yingmin though. Steven on the other hand, I'd be more hesitant as my experience with the fcufo wasn't the greatest.

To be fair, though, all 3 *do* look good (spacing on the perc on far left could be better, for sure). I like the products of both sellers... Since my last 2 were Steven (and I like them), I may throw a little business Yingmin's way next time, to spread the China Glass Love. He's got a handful of slightly nicer versions of pieces I own and wish were slightly nicer (SSS, chinaaron).Here's a pic (click to zoom) of Yingmin's GB-187 in the middle, flanked by two of Steven's FC-187s. The perks are similar in quality IMO, but I would have to give the edge to Yingmin.

I'm looking for my "perfect" dab glass. I currently own a FC-187 v2, a FC-710, and a CCC Torus. All were purchased from DHGate after discovering them in this thread. I guess that I have determined that I like a bit more diffusion rather than flavor.
I don't really care for the Torus and the 710 is "okay." My favorite by far is the FC-187. But, there are a couple of things that I wish I could change about it, too. I don't particularly care for the sidecar mouthpiece, and the female joint sitting on top makes it difficult to use a drop down.
So, does anyone know of a DHGate piece that uses the perc from the 187, but that has a mouthpiece similar to the 710? and has the nail joint coming from the side instead of the top like on the Torus? Preferably in 18mm female?
I've searched on the site and didn't find anything with that criteria. But, according to my wife, I'm both blind AND clueless when looking for something. So, I thought I would ask here to see if anyone has any ideas.

ThanksThat's the dp-mini I've been working on with Steven. It should be about the same size as the fc-710, with a body style similar to the fc-mini, and a banger hanger out front instead of a joint on top. There's more info in the custom glass ideas thread, including the most recent design image.
The first sample was supposed to be finished last week- did Steven give more info on when it might be ready?

True, the matrix perc isn't the same as the GB-187, but it's similar. And this piece has an awesome vortexing recycler which helps add a bit more diffusion to the piece.
The mouthpiece is very similar to the FC-710, however I should note the GB-242 glass is on the thin side, if you're prone to breaking stuff, you might want to pick up two of these!

I also like the UFO but I wish it had a side car down stem... Can someone get that made for us?
cause I dont use water and the sub constantly drip oil / sublimate that need to be plucked off the bottom, which is surprisingly easy, but only on a smooth easy to reach with a poker surface...
