I agree, they probably did a water test to make sure it was functional... I wouldn't be upset about that unless it smelled like bongwater or something gross. Better than getting a dry, pretty piece only to find it has air leaks or pin holes somewhere like many of us have been sent from various Dhgate sellers. It is a bummer about the 186 breaking, I've been wanting that piece for a while now, and plan to order one as soon as I can. I hope you are able to get that resolved quickly, you need to open a dispute on DHgate and send photos of the broken piece to the seller if you haven't already done so.

So my first fatalaty happend.. Idk if u can help assist me with what to do @blankrider . I think because steven put all 4 pipes in 1 box the biggest one fc-186 got absolutley smashed. Im scared to open the rest of the bubble wrap cause of glass shards. Will upload a pic..

My mini and ufo are fine. Mini pillar is also but came wet... Dont like getting a used piece.

Just as I started reading your post I was thinking that I hope a chubby postal worker doesn't decide to use your box as a stool...and then it looks like that did happen :bang:. I'd be crushed (much like the box) if that happened to me. I've got two pieces coming together soon from Steven, hopefully it has better luck.

On the upside if you sand off any sharp bits, the stereo matrix section makes for a cool looking paper weight.

Im talking to steven for a replacment to be sent just waiting for a response. Does anyone have the fc-mini? My rubber band orings dont fit.

Also. HOW CAN I UPLOAD A VID? I will post a function vid of all of these puppys

Steven is a pretty nice guy and should replace it no problem since you have pictures of an obviously broken piece. I don't think there would be any need to file a dispute. Just give him a few days to get your replacement shipped out and request that it is packaged very well.

It can be a real pain in the ass to get the swing inserted with o-rings. I find that it helps to only put one ring on and try to push the swing through the tube. Once the swing is sticking out the other side of the tube put the second ring on and pull it back in. I find using a toothpick to shove the o-rings helps a lot

Ended up ordering an FC-Cake as my mini vape rig. I prefer the look of the FC-Mini and wish he could make a 14mm or 18mm female version of it rather than the integrated quartz swing. (Any chance of this @blankrider?)

The Cake is only 1.5 inches taller, works out of the box with an 18mm Ratchett, and the steps should reduce stacking making it less likely for water to get into the mouthpiece. A quick look at my local Craigslist shows that if it's not to my liking it won't be too hard to flip it locally so figured it was a pretty low risk purchase.

I've been lurking here for a few months, but I feel pretty much like a rookie when it comes to glass. I'm wondering if you guys could recommend some glass pieces for me.

I currently have a d020 and it seems to pair well with my e-nano and solo. I also got a wp-010 which I like quite a bit, and it pairs with my cloud +. This is the one I use most of the time, and I do like it.

Now, I'm wondering if you could recommend something that is a huge diffuser with flowers and would pair with my Cloud+. I'm still learning to appreciate the taste, and I use it with my wife, and we both want the vapor to be less harsh.

Do pieces with double percs help?

Also steven needs better packaging skills when shipping large pieces. My fc-186 was SOOO poorley packaged. It was touching the box no wonder its in 100's of pieces.

I really don't think this piece is "drag city" at all, asides from the fact he's put way too much water in it the function itself is relatively dragless, it will have a interesting chug as you'll pulling water through the tubes but the matrix perc will make everything dragless, this video has actually made me really tempted to get the piece, dude that function is legit for $70 pretty much just like a real sov.

Welcome aboard!

The GB-187 is a quality piece ( or my favorite - the sidecar version - GB-187-S) - very popular on this thread.

A matrix perc like that one will provide more diffusion than what you have. There really aren't many other China glass percs that can provide more diffusion by itself. The only other one I can think of is a Frit which I personally avoid because they can get clogged up if you're not careful.

If a GB-187 (or something similar) still isn't enough diffusion for you, you'd most likely need a second chamber for added diffusion.

Few other ideas to consider:
1) Try using warm/hot water in your glass before vaping, with will help sooth the hit
2) My recyclers seem to provide more diffusion than other rigs with similar percs. You may want to consider a recycler, though I don't know who makes the best DHgate recycler (probably the D-cycler by CCG is the current thread favorite)

I asked him earlier, to make a video with less water, so we can see how it functions differently. The cool thing about the pillar piece, is that you can use different water levels, and get different function from it. You can either have the bubbles pop in the splash chamber right above the pillars, or have enough water that it overflows into the top chamber, and the bubble action happens in there.

I prefer the GB-187-S mouthpiece to my FC-187 mouthpiece, that's for sure

I personally don't like the mouth pieces on any of the china glass I have. The flared end is a bit weird, your lips kinda go inside it. I prefer a more rolled mouth piece that you purse your lips against.

I'm using this piece as a reference because I own one and everytime I use it I remember how nice it feels on my lips.

I hear you there. Sometimes I can feel it coming on, but I'm thinking "no fucking way I'm not taking this hit." Bubbler get's milked, I feel something weird on my lip and ignore it, clear the piece. On exhale I look back at the bubbler and notice my spittle dripping down into the mouthpiece.

"Well, it's just me here" my inner whitetrash tells myself. "Fucking slob" replies my inner professional.

So I've basically switched to whips and the Do20-W.

(if any of you ever make it over to my house, remember the above (bring your own bubbler or watch me ISO it first)).
