Both
@DieHard and I have ordered one, I like the look of it, but it looks like it's gonna be pretty small...
I much preferred the look of the prototype steven made, I definitely hope he puts them into production...
There was a push for a group buy of prototypes if that was possible for steven, maybe if
@blankrider receives enough commuity support for them we could get a group buy, the reason he wouldn't list them- because the pricing would be closer to the higher end for china glass (like 80$-100$ if I recall correct) for the fab eggs and they can't just be mass prodo'd at that size because they require a level of skill to produce. However if
@blankrider sees this I'm still game for one as well, I've noticed a lot of people have been commenting in different threads regarding it which may have split up estimated demand, maybe a google doc/ emailing list is in order? Seems to be a lot of demand even though the price may be high. (still crazy low for a good egg, even though it's china they still need to be handworked)
The newer stevenlmz designs for his torus clone look promising, and I guess he just needs larger holes as it seems he has sort of got the principle down, so that looks like a version 2.0 buy for me personally but the quality and build looks down pact aside from the vortex holes.

@SSVUN~YAH I had a laugh at your post, but to be honest after dabbing from a lot of different pieces (dab bars/ friends) and water testing countless pieces at some high end headshops (well for canada anyway, such as hi-times in ON and ignite smoke shop/ tha bong shop and others in van) ranging from micro pieces to heavy grids and percs (oh man you haven't lived til you've held a
Mr Gray nug rig in your hands, it's like holding the holy grail) I also think this is the best grab for under 50$ on dhgate so far (lets see how stevens new designs turn out, maybe he hits a home run with one of the pillars). It really does hit like a micro and have the size and weight of a larger piece than it is.
Larger grids/perc'd tubes tend to lose a ton of flavor quickly although they let you take much larger dabs, and most percs that aren't by top level manufacturers aren't really lined up (when it's challenging for the artist)- companies like jm-flow, sov, and toro seem to always be on point as far as prodo goes). Another huge benefit for me personally is the water weight added to the piece so it doesn't tip- great for people who either are slightly clumsy or in my case have things that are balancing off of it such as my enail coil/drop down. I have a variety of pieces I use on different occasions- like a swing rig at a friends (easy to setup) or a 10mm for tasting new grabs. I'd say the piece that sees the least use-age would be my double barrel knockoff, I just kind of feel it gets outclassed by my other pieces, but for an on the go piece I still go back to it at times. Lending a friend my OGC cycler and might end up selling him my double barrel as his starter rig on the low. (he doesn't have much of a glass budget, and a friend of mine gave me a good deal on my Solo so it's just passing on the favor)
I truly think that the fc710 is the piece I would dab day in and day out on heavy rotation alongside my toro hex-13arm, they just both serve different purposes. Micro rigs like hitman gunk up so quick your perc gets clogged within a few days without cleaning, whereas here you have what I consider to be a slightly smoother hitting 10mm micro rig, but taller and with much more airway (you can seriously pull hard on this monster/has crazy airflow, it's crazy- changing my solo stem order from male to female just for this). Man I just can't stop saying enough good about this rig- it really surprised me. Hoping that maybe a combination of a turbo shorty on a solo with a hard pull will get me the same flavor that I'm getting from my dabs now, with the airflow being so great (open one hole downstem when you think about it, just with some water added in as it passes the marble). Something weird to note is that my dome that came with the fc-710 didn't quite airtight fit, although it does on some 14mm pieces of mine- this might be due to the height of the joint on my piece being slightly taller and the dome having a slight bump, or other factors, this doesn't affect me but it may affect others as my fc710 fits all my other 14mm just fine. (maybe grab an extra dome to be safe if it's your first rig, oh and get yourself a few silicone containers/pads and a domeless/cap since they are both so cheap online, just starter tips; oh and use quartz)
I'm not saying there aren't better pieces out there for specific needs- say you need a travel rig, a pendant/micro size would do you much better than a diffy pump, I haven't measured out how much water mine holds but it would not be a practical outdoors piece if I had to keep refilling if say I was camping and limited on water. Or if you have very tender lungs- this will hit like a mini and as a result I've sized my dabs down to my mini size dabs for 10mm and getting same results, and that may still be too harsh for some in which case I'd go for something closer to the fc-187 or that new yingming sidecar one. Only piece I could see myself choosing to dab over this at a dab bar would be probably the MS ball or one of the milli bent back 4.0 e.ross beakers, but only the MS ball would probably draw me to using it.
@Vitolo is that some jb weld I see on your piece there? haha, I've had a couple breaks and now have on hand high heat jb weld.
Edit: also in response to
@S1N3 I do check the thread regularly, I just thought that this was a clone of another egg that may have been already on another vendors website like smokecartel and have a function video as a result, sorry if I clogged up the thread
